With the progress of technology and the demand of people,the Internet is rapid development,the multimedia business flow has become the main body in network flow,how to ensure that the user video viewing experience at the same time improve the bandwidth efficiency is an important research subject.These studies can be divided into three directions.The first is a variable scalable coding for video coding(SVC)way of research,the core is layered coding way to adapt to the different network bandwidth,screen size,and different decoding ability of appli-cation requirements.The second is for dynamic adaptive flow(DAS)video transmission mechanism optimization research,the core is collected by the client,according to state information,the user needs,and the optimization goal dynamically adaptive to request the bit rate of video stream.The third is for the new type of named data network(NDN)research,the core design thought in his content as the center,not in the address as the center,the network video cache is applicable and multiplex characteristics more quan-tity distribution and access requirements.Due to the traditional IP network end-to-end transport mechanism makes on IP video transmission and optimized gradually meet the bottleneck,and unable to give full play to the advantage of the new video encoding and transmission mechanism.Given NDN increasingly perfect and DAS and SVC mature technology,design and build the video transmission system based on NDN is not only the function arguments and appli-cation of NDN supplement,is also an exploration of the new video transmission mech-anism.Therefore,this thesis has carried out extensive and in-depth research on dynamic adaptive streaming media transmission and optimization in NDN,and the main work results are as follows:1)The similarities and differences between IP and NDN in video transmission mechanism and optimization are analyzed and compared.The DAS transmission sys-tem model of SVC coding based on NDN architecture is designed and the logic of design and processing at each level is expounded.2)Based on the Lyapunov optimization theory,the DAS transmission system model based on NDN architecture is coded and modeled,and two dynamic rate adaptive al-gorithms based on Lyapunov's optimization theory are proposed for different network environments.3)Design and implementation of NDP(NDN DAS Platform),an experimental plat-form for DAS transmission system model based on NDN architecture,including archi-tecture design,module design,workflow and related technical details.4)In order to verify the design of the video transmission model and adaptive opti-mization algorithm,experiments were designed based on the ndnSIM simulation plat-form and NDP real platform experiments,and compared with other adaptive algorithm algorithm to verify the design of the video transmission model The feasibility and per-formance of adaptive optimization algorithms.
