Nowadays,the importance of information security is self-evident.Data hiding,especially data hiding technology based on image has become an important research direction of information security.In some special situations,such as military image,medical image,legal forensics and other fields,the integrity of the carrier image needs to be guaranteed.Therefore,the reversible data hiding is an important branch of image data hiding.Most of the existing image reversible data hiding algorithms are based on gray image.As we all know,most of the images in the Internet are color images.Therefore,this paper mainly deals with the reversible data hiding technology for color images.Most of the existing reversible data hiding algorithms of color images usually use gray image reversible data hiding algorithm in each channel,which ignores the correlation among RGB channels,and the performance is not good.In this case,reversible data hiding schemes for color images based on quaternion are proposed in this paper.The main work is as follows:1)A reversible data hiding algorithm based on 3D-PEEM for color images is proposed.Firstly,a prediction-error triple is generated from three channels of a color image.Next,the prediction error triples can shift freely in three-dimensional space.Finally,expand specific error triples to embed secret data and shift other triples to make room for data embedding.By using the proposed reversible 3D PEE mapping,the inter-correlation of RGB channels is better exploited.Extensive experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the traditional RDH methods for color images.2)A reversible data hiding algorithm based on QDCT for color images is proposed.Firstly,the color image is partitioned,then the QDCT is utilized,and the secret information is embedded into the high-frequency coefficient.In the end,the inverse transform IQDCT is used to obtain the constipation image.This algorithm has better QC and higher PSNR.
