With the development of wireless communication systems,the utilization of channel resources is more extensive and thorough,which required that we should make further understand the characters of wireless channel,make a comprehensive and accurate description of these resources through the establishlent of channel models.The system of multiple input multiple output(MIMO)adopted multi antenna both in transmitter and receiver,which not only enhance the performance of the system,but also improves the channel capacity compared with single input single output systems.This paper centers on analysis of statistical based MIMO channel model and the research of vehicle to vehicle communication system,through channel modeling under different environments,the statistical characters of angle of arrival(AOA),time of arrival(TOA)and the performance of MIMO system under different antenna arrays are analyzed.In this thesis,the research work mainly is divided into the following four aspects:Firstly,a two dimensional hollow-disc model is briefly introduced which is suitable for the outdoor macrocell environments,the space-time statistical characteristics of the uplink of this model are given.And then aiming at the modeling for the indoor and outdoor wireless propagation environments,a three dimensional geometrical scattering channel model is introduced based on the assumption that the scatters are distributed within a spheroid,in which the mobile station and base station are located at the spheroid's foci.This model captures both the spatial and temporal statistical distributions of the received multipath signals.Angle of arrival(AOA)and time of arrival(TOA)probability density functions of base station(BS)and mobile station(MS)are provided respectively under this 'model based on indoor and outdoor environments.To validate the model,it has been compared against some of the available two dimensional models and measured data.The proposed 3D model is suitable for wireless communication environment,especially in outdoor micro cellular cell and indoor communication environment,and enriches the research of three dimensional statistical channel models.Secondly,based on the above 3D statistical channel model,the performance of MIMO system are researched.By setting the four units of MIMO uniform linear array and uniform circular array at the mobile station,multi antenna system is analyzed in detail based on the three dimension spheroid statistical channel model,including spatial fading correlation,channel capacity and antenna array configuration.Then,to study the transmission characteristics of the channel under isotropic and non-isotropic scattering environments,the Von Mises density distribution is proposed and a geometric elliptical scattering model has been established.Both the transmitter and receiver are adapted uniform linear array to research multiple input multiple output performance.In the quantitative analysis of the relationship between AOA and angle of departure(AOD),the time auto correlation function(ACF),the spatial correlation function of the reference model are analyzed,so as the channel capacity.In addition,A parameter calculation method based exact doppler spread(MEDS)is proposed,simulation model is obtained based on a reference model.The statistical results of the proposed model illustrate the influence of the characteristic of the channel model under the Von Mises distribution,the theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the channel simulator and the reference model have almost the same time correlation function,which also extends the research of spatial statistical channel model.Finally,in order to research the vehicle to vehicle(V2V)communication systems under line of sight(LoS)and non-LoS(NLoS)propagation scenario,a statistical channel model based on a geometric street scattering channel model is proposed,in which both the transmitter and the receiver are moving and adopted multi antenna technology.The proposed model quantitatively analyzes the relationship between AOD and AOA and then analytical expressions of the signal in geometrical scattering channel model of the space cross-correlation function,temporal auto correlation function(ACF),frequency cross-correlation function and doppler power spectral density(PSD)are also presented.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the statistical characteristics of the proposed V2V communication system are consistent with the theory and experience,which expand the research of MIMO broadband V2V communication system.
