Design And Development For The Sign Language Materials Collection Management System

In China,the people with hearing and speech disabilities accounting for 1.67%of the total population are more than 20 million,and the number is the largest number of people with disabilities.Sign language is the main communication tool for them to express their thoughts,communicate and accept social information.The dictionary "Chinese sign language",which has been published for the sign language,has been translated for many years,and the vocabulary is not rich enough,especially the expression of some new words is controversial.Moreover,China is a multi-ethnic country,and dialects vary widely in different regions.This has affected the communication of deaf people in different areas to some extent.In 2012,we assume the "National sign language corpus construction" work from the National Language Committee.Sign Language Corpus Collection Management System is to serve the project.The Sign Language Corpus Collection Management System is constructed using the framework of.NET FrameWork4.5.The system architecture is B/S mode,and the main development environment is Win10,and the development tool is MSVS2012,the running environment is Server2012 and MS SQL Server 2008 R2.The main work has the following some aspects(in order):1,the demand analysis,selected environment,development platform and module division;2,the establishment of the underlying database(construction table and its relationship),and at the same time UI design and HTML5 front build;3,create the empty basic framework,and load test data for simulation;4,to solve important technical problems,such as video transcoding;5,the data collection process,selected by the professional team of nine cities in the country for video capture,the development of the data acquisition process,6,the collected data(raw corpus),the corpus annotation and database archiving,the formation of data can be used(cooked corpus);7,Data testing,source code tuning and optimization;8,tracking the user experience,and collection and improving to meet the practical application needs.The system finally implements the initial function of Corpus collection and management,including user management,sign language retrieval,sign language collection,video management,vocabulary management,news management,etc.;also includes the lexical part of speech,vocabulary interpretation,pinyin and other attribute management professional corpus function.The official on-line operation of the whole system fills our blank of sigh language collection and retrieval system at the stage,and provides support for learning sign language,and also provides a large data platform for the study of sign language.This meets sign language corpus construction requirements from the National Language Committee,and makes a certain contribution for language services.
