High dynamic range imaging(HDRI)technology restores the details and brightness range of the scene more realistically,and has a widely of applications in the fields of virtual reality,medical detection,industrial image processing,and photography.High dynamic range imaging technology currently focuses on two aspects: a method based on further hardware improvement and another method based on software synthesis.The current research focuses mainly on the method of software synthesis,because limited by the cost of hardware and other factors.At present,the method of the based on the multi-exposure of high dynamic range imaging is one of the more commonly used method.In this paper,the core technologies involved in high dynamic range imaging technology are researched.Separately from the acquisition of exposure set in high dynamic range imaging technology and the fusion of multi-exposure images to research.The research contents are as follows:1.The acquisition of exposure sets is the first step in multi-exposure high dynamic range imaging,which also directly affects the subsequent calculations.Both the optimal exposure of the camera and the dim and bright areas of the scene are considered,a method for obtaining the minimum bracketing exposure set based on the optimal exposure is proposed in this paper.The optimal exposure of the camera contains most of the useful information of the target scene.Firstly,the minimum and maximum radiance of the scene is estimated according to the camera response function,and then the minimum bracketing exposure set of the target scene is obtained.Experiments show that the proposed method optimizes the exposure set under the premise of guaranteeing the quality of synthesized images and reduces the time required for capturing.2.Multi-exposure fusion is simpler and more efficient than the traditional synthesis technology of high-dynamic-range images.The high dynamic range image fusion method based on Lab color space is proposed in this paper.Separating the color information and gray information according to Lab is better,combining the luminance and color domains separately,and finally combined the fusion results to display.The experimental results show that this method can reduce the computational burden and restore the high dynamic range scene better.
