With the development of computer technology, networked systems(NSs)have sprung up rapidly, and have become a new object of widespread concern by many researchers. Many researchers have begun to explore its theory. The birth of new unmanned vehicles and unmanned aircraft and the successful progress of telemedicine are all inseparable from the NSs.For the NSs,it is mainly through the use of private or public computer communication network to replace the traditional point-to-point control systems, the system of information transmission between the sensors, controllers and actuators and other system components.Compared with traditional control systems,NSs can effectively connect controllers, sensors and actuators in different places in communication network,so as to achieve remote control. The NSs have the advantages of low cost, convenient maintenance, safety and easy to extend, with the intervention of the communication network in NSs also have many challenges at the same time, for example, network induced delay, encoding and decoding, channel noise, bandwidth, packet dropouts, quantization and so on,which will impact on the performance of the systems. This paper is the influence of optimal performance of networked systems of these communication parameters constraints is studied, and mainly studies the optimal tracking performance of networked systems based on bandwidth constraints, the explicit expression of the optimal tracking performance is obtained by applying full decomposition, factorization, spectral decomposition, decomposition and decomposition technique,2H norm theory, and Youla parameter method. The main contents of the study are as follows:In the single-input single-output(SISO)NSs,the effect of data packet dropouts and network bandwidth on the optimal tracking performance of the system is also taken into account. From research results,we can see that the optimal tracking performance of such networked systems is affected by the unstable poles,non-minimum phase zeros of the given plant. At the same time, the data packet dropouts, bandwidth constraint and channel noise in the communication channel also have a certain effect on the optimal tracking performance. In the multi-inputs multi-outputs(MIMO)NSs,we have studied the effect of encoding-decoding,quantization and bandwidth on its optimal tracking performance. The optimal tracking performance of the NSs is obtained by using spectral decomposition and total pass decomposition. From research results,we can get the conclusion that the optimal tracking performance of such networked systems is influenced by the unstable poles, the non-minimum phase zeros and their directions of the given plant. And encoding-decoding,quantization and the bandwidth of the communication channel have a close influence on the optimal tracking performance. For MIMO NSs,we also studied the influence of encoding-decoding,channel noise, data packet dropouts and quantization on the optimal modified performance.Here,encoding-decoding and channel noise exist at the same time in the forward channel, while data packet dropouts and quantization are simultaneously present in the feedback channel are considered. From research results,we know that the optimal modified performance of such networked systems is affected by the unstable poles,non-minimum phase zeros and their directions of the given plant. In addition, the modified factors, packet dropouts, channel noise, encoding and decoding, and quantization will inevitably affect the optimal modified performance. The above research results will provide a good theoretical guidance for the design and application of NSs in the future.
