With the continuous development of science and the constant improvement of informationalized life,the needs of video transmission technology in daily life as well as in the work are growing,and practical scenes of video transmission are becoming wider.The initial video transmission was mainly through cable network,but it got lost where there was not covered by cable network.In order to solve the above problem,the public wireless network can be applied to make transmission.When major events and natural disasters take place,the public network occupancy rate reaches the peak.Thus,a self-built wireless network becomes the best solution for the multitudinous industry businesses and the public sectors to transmit videos.Wireless MESH network,as a typical wireless multi-hops network,combines the advantages of wireless local area network(LAN)and Ad Hoc network at the same time,such as relatively simple deployment and installation,good stability,relatively flexible structure,and convenience to obtain high bandwidth etc.Therefore,application of the wireless MESH network to wireless video transmission can meet the basic needs of video transmission and significantly reduce the investment of network deployment as well.Firstly,this paper introduces the development process and current situation of audio and video transmission technology and the development history and technological advantages of wireless MESH network.Secondly,a network scheme was carried on the design and research in three aspects respectively from the on-board wireless figure transmitting MESH networking,individual figure and mobile wireless MESH network,as well as audio and video integrated mobile MESH network,and was applied to the actual testing and implementation of the project to achieve a stable and efficient video transmission.Video transmission achieved a higher rate in order to improve the video articulation through parameter adjustment on the premise of guarantee smooth video transmission.In particular,a rational network model was designed and then a standard car MESH networking system was built based on the on-board wireless figure in the design of the mobile MESH network,using more than one car MESH networking equipment,through the test of influence of network speed,video bit rate,speed and other important parameters on the wireless signal.Many sets of individual MESH diagram and equipment were applied in individual figure and mobile wireless MESH network design and then a unified model of networking was designed for the similar project network through the design of individual wireless video transmission network model based on the actual testing of the optimal signal and video quality.In order to realize the wireless video transmission covering the whole city,a unified network model was designed to reduce the cost in audio and video integrated mobile MESH network,based on the all-dimensional network of the individual MESH diagram preach equipment,automotive MESH diagram equipment and the on-board equipment placed on the base.The actual deployment was carried out in Y city,and the maximum coverage of Y city was realized with the minimum deployment equipment through the comprehensive test of the signal coverage in Y city.
