Technology has crept in every aspect of society and the world is changing rapidly;it is becoming stronger and accurate.In fact,over the past decades,we have witness a tremendous changed in the evolution of mobile technology starting with the 1stt generation in 1980,in 1990 the 2nd generation,in 2000s the 3rd generation,in 2010 the4th generation mobile technology,and now we are anticipating the 5th generation wireless technology in 2020.This is a clear intuition that,the advancement of wireless technology is becoming more and more sophisticated and smarter.As we continued to witness the massive turning points in technology,there is a need to shift in new direction which is the 5th generation wireless network.The reason is,the present 4th generation wireless mobile technology has reach its theoretical standardization phase and will no longer accommodate or support QoS as well as managing resources in the continuous demand in wireless technology in the next years to come,therefore,with the extraordinary features of 5G wireless network,it will be a logical replacement for 4G in terms of QoS provision.However,this paper focuses on the significant call admission control?CAC?schemes in wireless network which is an effective mechanism that uses the predefine d algorithms to guarantee efficiency,flexible,and reliable quality of service?QoS?in wireless or mobile communication network.In order to minimize the traffic or number of call connections and also control the network congestion for the provision of quality of service?QoS?requirement in newly incoming calls or existing calls,the approach toward call admission control was introduced.To achieve better result,I used Riverbed?OPNET?Modeler 9.1 Academic Version network simulator as a tools which is designed for educational and research purposes on a desktop windows 7operating system.Taking into account quality of service and resource requirements,I focused on the development of three different network scenarios models in order to understand the signification of CAC in wireless technology,these three network scenarios consist of:Scenario one real-time applications,Scenario two non-real-time and real-time applications,and Scenario three non-real-time,video and voice applications.During the experiment,I focused on the network load,throughput and end-to-end delay or media access delay measurement.I also evaluated other important research done by other researchers for the purpose of identifying problems areas and how to solve these specific problem as well as evaluating further research opportunities.Moreover,the issue of resource management and QoS control has been an inherent challenge of present day's wireless technology which the 5th generation wireless technology is of no exception.Therefore,my analysis and focus was to propose a new technique or algorithm to improve the congestion of data and real-time traffic in wireless network but it was not possible due the limitation of the simulation tool.With that,I direct my attention on the resource management with more emphasis on QoS provision by identifying the importance of call admission control in wireless network.In addition,the experiment of this research endures the simulation of network throughput taking into consideration difference factors and various flexibility circumstances.During the experiment,I took into account data that integrate various scenarios and the user self-esteems across the network to guarantees the users'quality of service.On the other hand,I also implement and used these techniques as a standard that yields the best possible performance for call admission control?CAC?wireless network but have some demanding computational impediment.With this in mind,the proposed algorithm has the proficiency of allocating resources to customers and dispensing consumers among technological network simultaneously.In a nutshell,wireless technologies comes with some limitations and as theresults of these limitations,it is logical to provides some mechanism that will help keep up with the growing demand,CAC is one of the proposed method that provides certain level of quality of service?QoS?and resource allocation and as different applications and network traffic interplay in wireless network,it is also important to prioritize traffic or applications that are delay sensitive such as real-time communication?Video Conferencing,VoIP,Online gaming,etc.?.The algorithm of this paper was proposed to solve problem in the fifth generation?5G?wireless LAN network.
