With the acceleration of network infrastructure construction and the gradual expansion of network coverage, the number of network users is also growing rapidly, and people's daily life has become closer and closer with networks such as Jingdong,Taobao,Alipay,Wechat pay, etc. As a basic support application has been integrated into people's daily lives,it has become an important part of people's daily lives. As a new network protocol,IPv6 is becoming more and more mature.China Education Network is also gradually promoting the construction of IPv6 infrastructure. As we all know, the biggest deficiency of the IPv4 protocol is the limited IP address resources. At present,.IPv4 address resources are almost depleted, and IPv6 is an effective solution to the problem of insufficient address resources. At the same time,IPv6,according to previous research, has a superior performance compared to IPv4 and also provides the basic guarantee for the application of multi-path transmission(MPTCP).MPTCP protocol is an extension of the TCP protocol that supports multiple network interfaces and multiple transmission modes for concurrent transmission. It has significant significance for various emergency key applications of the next generation Internet. Therefore, the protocol has now become the focus of the IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)research. In addition,as an extension of the TCP protocol, the MPTCP protocol is supposed to be able to support all applications in the upper layer today. Therefore, this technology should be able to provide better solutions for future network problems and have a bright future. For example, the central computer room and data center will usually access network services provided by multiple network service providers(ISPs).These application scenarios can only use one network service provider as the basic use network, and others are used as backups to prevent the network in use from being stopped due to a failure. However, during the period of switching the network process, the system host still loses the network service,it is this short switching process,it may cause huge losses. If the MPTCP protocol is used, this possible loss will be avoided.MPTCP can aggregate multiple network interfaces at the same time.Theoretically,it will increase the network bandwidth. At the same time, once a network service fails, other networks can continue to provide the network. These network services can avoid the situation of a short time out of service of the system host. There are multiple indicators for evaluating network service quality, and network robustness is an important evaluation indicator.Robustness considers robustness,anti-denaturation,and network robustness which can be understood as network connectivity suffered from unexpected interruption or abnormal interference. It has the ability to guarantee its continued transmission or restore the network connection. The research done in this paper is mainly the evaluation of the robustness of the MPTCP and the construction of the robustness assessment system. The main content of this article can be summarized as follows:1)Propose the concept of MPTCP connection robustness and MPTCP recovery robustness.2)Propose the concept of importance factor of MPTCP sub-flow and establish a mathematical model of the calculation formula of MPTCP sub-flow importance factor.3)Based on the importance factor of MPTCP,an MPTP robustness assessment model is established, and a mathematical model for calculating the formula for robustness assessment of MPTCP is established.4)Verify the availability of the MPTCP robustness assessment model using the hypothesis testing principle and t-test method in statistical analysis.5)Construct an MPTCP robustness assessment system based on the MPTCP robustness assessment model and describe in detail the process of building the system.
