The image is the most basic kind of information carrier at the moment and it covers the corner of people's daily life.Therefore,with the advent of the information age,images have become one of the main sources of information.However,due to the diversity of information carriers and propagation processes,the loss of image information has become a commonplace,and the loss of image information is considered to be a degraded phenomenon.Therefore,research on the enhancement and restoration of degraded images has Extremely important practical significance.The dark channel prior algorithm performs a classical algorithm for image enhancement and restoration of degraded images.However,during the operation of the dark channel prior algorithm,the time complexity and space complexity are relatively large and the processing time is long.To solve this problem,this paper improves a dark channel based degraded image enhancement and restoration algorithm.This subject has studied the degraded image and improved the dark channel prior algorithm.This algorithm is based on atmospheric scattering physical model,using the dark channel prior algorithm and principal component analysis method to calculate the parameter transmittance and atmospheric light value,so as to enhance and restore the degraded image.First,the Gaussian Laplacian operator is used to perform a second-order differential operation on the Gaussian operator,and then it is convolved with the degraded image to obtain a degraded image and a dark channel image with enhanced edge detail,thereby achieving a fine transmission.The purpose of the rate is to solve for a more accurate transmission.Secondly,the principal component analysis method is used to linearly transform the data matrix of the degraded image,and the principal component variables of the degraded image are extracted,and the atmospheric light value is calculated by the weighted calculation.Finally,based on the atmospheric scattering physical model,the degraded image is enhanced and restored to obtain a clear image.Through MATLAB software,a large number of simulations of the algorithm are carried out to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm.The image of coal mine underground fog dust is enhanced and restored,which proves that the algorithm has application value.At the same time,the subjective and objective image quality evaluations of the clear image processed by the three algorithms of the algorithm,the classical dark channel algorithm and the adaptive contrast algorithm were performed.The results confirmed that the algorithm processing effect was uniform and thorough,and the false color was improved.Phenomenon,better maintain the authenticity and saturation of the image color,restore the details and increase the effective information of the image.
