Digitized campus,based on modern advanced computer technology,network and communication technology,constructs a virtual campus.It makes campus information resources digitized,and employs scientific management for specification,integration and utilization.In the entrance of the digitized campus,there is a need for identification so as to guarantee the identity of the personnel who enter the campus.The fingerprint recognition technology is a reliable and safe biological recognition technology,which will play an moreandmoreimportant role in the campus identification.At present,the identification of the campus network is through one card solution.The problem is the card is easy to be lost and stolen.This paper explores the introduction of fingerprint identification system to gradually replace the one card solution,thus improving the safety and convenience of identification.This paper,based ondigitized campus,studieshow fingerprint recognitiontechnology playsthe role ofidentificationinthe campus environment.This paper also offersa block diagramof hardware circuitfingerprint recognition,and focuses on fingerprintrecognition algorithm.Based on the current achievement sand technology,the research is carried outinthe following aspects.(1)In the hardwaresection,DSPchipTMS320VC5510 from TI is adopted for theprocessing and recognition of fingerprint image,ARMchip S3C2440 from Samsungforexternal controland data exchange,FPC1011F from Swedenfingerprintcompanyforfingerprint scanner and related expansion ofinemory chips.This paper gives the relevanthardwareconfiguration diagram.The basichardware platform is provided to meetthe needs offingerprint identification.(2)The minutiae extraction of fingerprint image and the construction of the hash sequence are studied in the chapter.In order to overcome the defects of the existing fingerprint hash algorithm,a new non-alignment hash algorithm is proposed.The minimum distance vector MDG is used as the feature sets in the algorithm.By constructing the MDG of the fingerprint image,the hash of which is used for the recognition and authentication of the fingerprint image.It is better to eliminate the pseudo minutiae in a binary fingerprint image.(3)A novel matching search algorithm(CSA)is proposed to search for the maximum matching pairs between fingerprints.The CSA algorithm successfully solves the case that two hash vectors come from different impressions on the same fingerprint may be different.Compared with the grid distance matching,the algorithm can shorten the matching time and improve the efficiency of the algorithm.In some cases,incomplete fingerprints does not affect the recognition accuracy.(4)This paper integrates fingerprint identification system with Library entrance guard system,realizing the combination of fingerprint identificationtechnology and digitizedcampus.In this way,the security ofdigital campus will be enhanced,and the life of teachers and studentson campus will be facilitated.So it has a practical value.
