With the rapid development of information technology and people's increasing attention to information security issues,identity authentication technology is also used in more and more information systems.Traditional identity authentication methods use passwords or tokens to achieve identity identification and there are security risks of being compromised and misappropriated.It is difficult to meet the security requirements of identity authentication systems.Biometrics have been gradually applied to the authentication technology due to their uniqueness,no memory,anti-counterfeiting,etc.For users,biometrics authentication technology is convenient,fast,and has high reliability.But,the data storage and transmission security issues of biometrics also arise.Biometric template protection technology combines biometric and cryptography theory to effectively protect the security of biometric features.It has become one of the hot technologies that are widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.Because the palmprint has rich texture information,less affection by age changes and easier to be accepted by people,etc.The palmprint cancelable template technology has good application prospects.In this paper,the traditional biometric template protection technology and the recognition and security issues of palmprint cancelable template generation algorithms are studied.Then it would respectively propose palmprint template protection algorithms based on LBP and secure sketch,the specific research is as follows:1.In order to improve the security and recognition performance of palmprint cancelable template generation algorithm,two palmprint cancelable template generation algorithms based on LBP are proposed.The algorithms employ the double key to encrypt the LBP feature extraction process,so that each user can generate a random LBP feature vector through different keys.Moreover,the non-linear quantification method of dislocation comparison and sliding window respectively is also employed by the algorithms to realize the binarization processing of the palmprint feature vector.Experimental simulation and analysis results show that the proposed algorithms have good recognition performance,and it can effectively protect the sensitive information of palmprint template under the condition of single key loss.2.Aiming at the problem that palmprint template protection algorithms have poor recognition and robustness,a palmprint cancelable template generation algorithm is proposed based on secure sketch.The algorithm uses a combination of Gabor filter and PCA algorithm in the feature extraction process to extract more abundant palmprint features.At the same time,the BCH code is introduced to implement the secure sketch and improve the fault tolerance of the algorithm.Experimental simulation and analysis results show that the proposed algorithm has good recognition performance and robustness.
