Today,the Navigation technology has been widely used in our life.The technology in Flight navigation,Ship navigation and Vehicle navigation are considerable mature.In recent years,studies about navigation technology which make the blind go out for walk more easily are also very hot.Due to the reason of their body,the blind man is considered as a special group.Although they are at the heart of the city,they seem to be isolated and live in a world full of darkness.In order to help this group integrated into the rich and colorful city life,become more independent and more better,help them go out for shopping freely,what's more,go to everywhere if they wanted just like a normal person.This paper proposes a detection method of mall road which based on the pulse of the neural network.The purpose is to apply this study to the blind navigation technology,which help them travel more conveniently.The basic idea of this method is that it is firstly shooting lots of the original image of shopping mall road from the big mall,and preprocessing the original image,namely remove the noise in the original image.Secondly,carry on image enhancement processing for the noise reduction image,increase its contrast and enhance the image of the boundary information.Then,using the pulse neural network to get gradient map of the mall road image,through the threshold method can eliminate the useless gradient,and by the combination of watershed algorithm segment the mall road pavement.For the sake of eliminating excessive segmentation problem in watershed algorithm,using the similarity criterion for similar area merging,and finally utilize the boundary tracking algorithm extracted the mall road boundary contour information.Through the experimental analysis we found that this method can better segment contour of mall road boundary,the effect of segmentation is quiet good and has a certain of robustness.The method this article discusses is only a small part of the whole system for the blind,is the most basic research part.With the development of image processing technology,computer technology and network technology,it's not hard to imagine that in the future the blind will travel like this:the blind man with glasses equipped with miniature camera lenses and headphones,wearing a vest that has the function of navigation,walk in the flow of the crowd with independence and freedom.And the working process of the navigation system is:get pavement image in real-time from the tiny cameras,transmitted to the navigation device to analyze and calculate.It can plan out a feasible and safe way automatic,and remind the blind through real-time voice.
