Optical communication technology has greatly promoted the development of wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)technology.At present,DWDM technology has long been the core technical support of optical communication.In Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing(DWDM)technology,with the increasing use of channels,the information transmission in production and life just needs to make the comb filter germinate and grow,and the technology innovation and Application innovation.In this paper,a more comprehensive theoretical analysis,simulation analysis and experimental platform construction are made for the relatively rare comb filter formed by evanescent field coupling and some achievements have been achieved.1?By reading a large number of domestic and foreign literature,summed up the type of comb filter present(mainly 6),and compare their strengths and weaknesses.Then the characteristics and advantages of the comb filter studied in this paper are discussed theoretically.2?Due to the advantages of this kind of coupled comb filter,an optical comb filter based on taper fiber and LiNbO3 medium is designed from the viewpoint of production,and the structural design and structural parameters are given.From the existing theoretical analysis of the principle of evanescent wave coupling can occur,combined with the formula to be elaborated.According to the formula calculus,to illustrate the coupling occurs,resulting comb filter effect conditions and the design of the device structure parameters.3?For the design of the comb filter model,software simulation to demonstrate the true feasibility of the device.The structural parameters of the model are established according to the existing research and general interval.Then use COMSOL Multiphysics software to carry on the simulation analysis and the conclusion verification,obtains has the periodic comb filter effect chart.Therefore,it proves that the designed model conforms to the expected conjecture.Further use of software simulation to optimize the structural parameters and study the impact of the device comb-related parameters.4?Use laboratory resources available to complete experimental design,build experimental platform.Due to the experimental conditions needed to control much more than the theoretical analysis,has not yet fully made a very satisfactory experimental results.At present,the basic construction of experimental platform has been completed.And summed up a number of precautions to provide reference for the relevant research.
