Automatic Target Tracking And PTZ Control Based On TMS320DM642

Moving target detection and tracking technology occupies an important position in the field of computer vision,and is widely used in military,traffic and security.The control of the existing intelligent monitoring system needs human intervention,against this defect,this thesis designs an automatic target tracking system based on tms320dm642 chip,which is based on dsp hardware,combined with camera,PTZ,monitor and Meanshift tracking algorithm to complete the video image collection,the video image processing,as well as the control of the PTZ,it can control the PTZ according to the position of the moving target in the field of view,and automatically track the moving target in real-time and continuously.The specific research content is as follows:Firstly,after deeply study on moving target detection and tracking technology,we design an automatic target tracking system based on tms320dm642 chip,including the design,installation and commissioning of peripheral circuits with tms320dm642 minimum system as the core.The program realizes the Meanshift tracking algorithm,and the communication between PTZ,camera,monitor and the dsp.Secondly,on the basis of deeply analysis the principle of meanshift tracking algorithm and the structure of dsp hardware platform,the process of meanshift tracking algorithm,video image collection,PTZ control and video display are realized in ccs3.3 dsp development environment.The programming of tms320dm642 chip peripheral devices,such as I~2C,EDMA,EMIF,Flash,SDRAM and codec,and the hardware design of data processing module,external memory module,video codec module and PTZ control module is completed with tms320dm642 minimum system as the core.Under the joint action of Meanshift tracking algorithm and dsp hardware platform,complete video signal acquisition,transmission,storage,and analysis,and achieve continuous automatic tracking of moving targets.Finally,in a completed software development environment,calling Open CV video library,program to achieve meanshift algorithm tracking process,according to tracking process and experimental results,in order to improve the real-time and accurateness of the system,based on dsp hardware platform completely out of the computer,to achieve automatic continuous target tracking.
