Communication network has become the basic and strategic level of infrastructure in the country's development,especially in the modern war based on the background of information warfare,and the reliability of the communication network is particularly important.However,the actual network environment is very complex,and the battlefield is changing rapidly.The ability to deal with the rapid environmental changes need to be further studied.Sometimes,the congestion or failure of one or a few nodes can cause congestion or failure of other nodes into a large scale.This phenomenon is called cascading phenomenon.Large scale blackout in North America and Italy is a typical cascading process,which often brings great inconvenience and huge economic losses to people and society.In the information war era,the serious consequences caused by congestion or failure of individual nodes can't be envisaged.At present,the research of cascading phenomena in power network and social network is emerging,but the research on the cascading phenomenon of the communication network is very little.This thesis is mainly to explore cascade phenomenon in actual communication networks as a starting point,and it is the foundation of the cascade protection in the future studies.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1)Survey of cascading phenomenon.At present,the research on cascade phenomenon in the communication network is still open and lack of direct and useful references.In complex networks and social networks,there are a lot of researches on the cascade phenomenon of the actual systems.This thesis tries to use the existing research ideas for innovation.Therefore,the survey of cascade phenomenon in various network systems is the basic of this thesis.2)Cascading model for communication networks.It is an important step to establish a model which is suitable for cascading phenomenon in communication networks,and it is intended to model the cascade phenomena from the perspective of network resource utilization and the coupled relations in interdependence networks.3)Network model and simulation experiments.The feasibility of the proposed model is verified by massive simulations on the classic scale-free network model.In this paper,we use the scale free network model as the prototype of the network,and compose the simulation module to verify the effectiveness of cascade model.4)Result analysis and application research.The rationality of the obtained results is verified;and the advantages and disadvantages of the cascade models are deeply discussed.The difficulty and feasibility of the cascading models in the actual network system is further discussed.The final purpose of this thesis aims at the application of cascade models in to communication systems such as the tactical data link system.Through studying the cascade phenomenon in communication networks,this thesis aims to explore the robustness or the reliability of network communication.It can be the foundation for following-up cascade protection studies for communication networks.It has a broad application prospect,especially in the military network,such as tactical data link with a huge and potential value.
