The quality evaluation of individual papers is an important part of academic evaluation. But,the quantification index of the quality evaluation of the individual papers is a scene of a hundred schools of thought contend. However, the "number of citations" is not only an important quantitative indicator, but also be used in the other quantitative indicators as an important parameter. At present, the distribution of citations is serious polarization. The majority of academic papers are scarcely cited while a few others are highly cited.A large number of studies indicate that there are many factors influencing the number of citations. But,different scholars have different conclusions, and even some scholars' research results is completely opposite. So,is there an objective "real" hide behind the different research results? Is there any certain relationship between these factors? Is there any deeper factor influence these factors? The dataset contains 55,720 journal papers of CSSCI published in 2005-2015 and indexed in CNKI.These articles all belong to 18 different journals of Library and Information Science.Random drawing 600 articles as sample, three general categories with 47 features integrating the characteristics of domestic Library and Information Science was coded. These three categories are "paper related features","author(s)related features","references related features".Then we used the methods of correlation analysis(CA),principal component analysis(PCA),to explore whether the above features influence the number of citations, and then we identify 27 factors from the 47 features through the magnitude of the correlation coefficient. We analyze the relationship between each two factors by the correlation analysis method. Finally, three deeper factors are extracted by principal component analysis:author(s)prestige, reference, work unit, the weight of the three is 0.51,0.33,0.16.This paper scientifically and systematically analyzes the factors affecting number of citations in domestic Library and Information Science, and explore the relationship of each two factors, extract three deeper factors, provide empirical support for factors affecting number of citations, laid a theoretical basis for the prediction of citation counts and deeper factors research. In order to help scholars to judge the paper quality, discover high quality academic achievements as soon as quickly. And even provide a theoretical reference to scholars how to improve the quality of their articles. The software for data processing and analyzing are PHP 5.2.3,MySQL 5.0.45,SPSS 22.0 and Excel 2016.
