Modern industry,agriculture and transportation expanding needs for information,as well as the progress of intelligent microelectronics,computing and wireless communications technologies,promote the wireless sensor network technology to mature.Although wireless sensor networks have mature applications in the field of environmental monitoring,wireless sensor networks are application-oriented,but its application in the field of precise measurement of agriculture have not been developed.Through the analysis of related technologies,this paper discusses design of the internet of things for environmental monitoring based on wireless sensor networks.The monitoring system consists of two parts,monitoring area and local applications.Monitoring area consists of many multi-depth soil temperature sensor nodes,which is the key point of this paper.The single sensing node mounts several temperature sensors to accurately measure the temperature of the soil at different depths,so that the user gets sufficient environmental information.The sensing nodes of the wireless sensor network are equipped with hardware which is based on mature technology,but in order to meet the needs of environmental monitoring,sensor nodes apply the low-power mechanisms,networking is in the form of self-organization,which caused limited hardware resources of sensing node and processing capacity of the operating system.This article will discuss the design and implementation of component running on the sensor node which has limited hardware functions.Embedded program is closely associated with its running environment.In the process of component programming,especially in the programming of the sensor component for collecting environmental data,should take support capabilities of the sensing nodes and communication requirements of the temperature sensor into consideration.Design and implement the multi-depth soil temperature environment monitoring things.Sensor node communicates with the temperature sensor through a single bus,the node should recognize temperature sensors connected to the bus during communication.However,the timing of this single bus of the temperature sensor is strict and the realization of its communication is constrained by the sensor nodes,to solve these problems,we propose a binary search algorithm to search for all temperature sensors connected to the single bus,which is the key step of the process in which single node recognize multi-sensor.Environmental monitoring system which consists of multi-depth soil temperature sensor nodes will be widely used in the field of accurate environmental monitoring.Assist the user to accurately monitor the environment for the growth of crops in the agricultural production process.
