Research And Design Of The Public Opinion Monitoring System

With the widespread use of the Internet,Social media has been considered as"fourth media" following the public press,radio,television media,it has lots of advantages such as express fast,multi-information,interactive way and so on compared with traditional media.The network has become the main channel reflecting public opinion and plays an important role in the dissemination of public opinion.Various criminals often carry a wide variety of criminal activities via the Internet,undermine social order,corrupt social morals,interfere and sabotage the normal operation of the network.Meanwhile foreign hostile forces has opened up a new battlefield of permeability damage on the Internet.More and more are also parties to the case to spread and amplify their voices through the network,This has become an important feature of the indictment,complaint letters and other areas in the Internet age.resolve the crisis of public opinion,judge public opinion trends,help local governments to grasp the public opinion,the hot topic of public discussion and comments,etc.provide an important basis for decision-making leadership,this is one of the important tasks at this stage faced by China's cyber cops.Firstly the paper analyzes the public opinion research status in domestic and foreign,expatiate on related theory of public opinion,on the basis of work,research some related technology of public opinion.The content of this paper as follows:(1)According to the working characteristics and functional requirements of the public security organization job,with the software engineering,the paper carries out an overall system requirements analysis of the public opinion monitoring system.(2)The paper optimizes the deployment of the system architecture,deploying the same system on public security network,increasing specific sensitive information analysis and processing function on this system,the two systems communicate via SecureGAP,it makes the system meet the actual requirements of public security job.(3)In the design of public opinion focus model,the paper classifies effectively the content of public opinion users concerned,assessing and analyzing the event trend,giving warning in advance according to the results of classification,meantime,according to the principle of territorial jurisdiction of police job,the paper increases the conditions that should match the local administrative divisions and local focus sites on the basic of matching the system key words,achieving massive internet information automatically associated with the local administrative divisions,improving the efficiency of public opinion information discovery.(4)On the basic of research of mainly clustering algorithm,the paper proposes the selection strategy of clustering algorithm in topic detection on Internet,using the topic detection model based on BIRCH clustering algorithm,the paper experiments show that the algorithm can work fine in topic detection of internet in information collection module.(5)On the basis of above work,a public opinion monitoring system has been designed and developed,its functionalities include information collection,topic detection,sensitive words filtering,information index,the seminar focus,the statistic and analysis.
