Design And Implementation Of LED Indoor Location System Based On Android Platform

Indoor location is currently a hot research topic of navigation and positioning technology,it is designed to solve the problem that high matured satellite positioning technology can not navigation and positioning in large complex indoor environment.LED indoor location technology is a new type of technology application based on optical communication technology.This scheme is an important direction to solve the problem of indoor location.This paper proposes a technical solutions of LED indoor location based on the Android smart phone.Prove the feasibility of this scheme at the same time.The key point to LED indoor positioning technology is how to receive and parse optical signal.This thesis introduces two ideas of optical signal received:One is the mobile phone front camera as an optical signal receiver,by getting the gray value camera preview image data to determine the status LED lights light and dark;the second is the phone's light sensor as an optical signal receiver,by getting the light sensor the light intensity data to determine LED lights bright and dark states.In this paper,LED_ID position methods and OOK mode for ID signal is modulated design emission end hardware circuit,then Android smartphones as a receiver,to receive the ID information emitted by the LED through the camera and light sensor,completed the data analysis on the phone.Finally complements system software on android platform.From the article we know that LED indoor location can be easy to realize by using a Android mobile phone with out additional hardware configuration.Mobile phone's built-in camera or sensors can achieve the objectives with the help of abundant hardware interface provided by Android platform,Software engineer makes it convenient and feasible to implemented LED indoor location system on Android smart phone.
