In the severely obstructed NLOS(Non-line-of-sight)environment,obstacles between the UN(Unknown Node)and RS(Reference Station)make the DP(Direct Path)undetectable.It greatly restricts the application of wireless localization method.Moreover,for most 2D localization methods cannot be readily extended to localization in 3D space.Localization schemes by using reflected signal,which widespread in severe NLOS,turn to be a novel solution for this situation.The main works are as follows:In this paper,we mainly studied the 3D spatial location relationship among the RS,UN and Scatterers.The reasons why the range-based localization methods cannot be readily localization in 3D space were analysed.The mathematical model which can describe the 3D spatial location relationship among the RS,RN and Scatterers was built on the view point of the LOS signal been obstructed.A novel 3D localization method based on SBP signal was proposed.An optimization algorithm utilize the single-bounce signal(SBP)was designed and the mathematical solution to the position relationship is derived.Furthermore,the performance of the algorithm is studied by using RMSE(Root Mean-Square Error)analysis and Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB).It is shown,by experimental simulations,that the proposed method can localization very well in severe non-line-of-sight multipath environments.A NLOS localization algorithm of zenith angle information missing in receiving terminal was proposed,which can localization in the situation of receiving zenith angle information missing.Furtherly,a new 3D localization method utilizes the height information of the scattering plane was proposed.This method applies the distance and departure angle of single-bounce path(SBP)and do not need the information of the arrival angle.Also,the performance of the algorithm is studied by using root mean-square error(RMSE)analysis and Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB).The simulation results show the proposed methods achieve good performance under various parameters errors in severe NLOS environments,and thus the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated.Finally,A LOS,SBP,DBP and thrice-bound or more bound NLOS signal distinguish technique was proposed.Using this technique is possible to eliminate the error detection in severe NLOS Localization methods,which can improve the location precision of the localization methods proposed above.
