With the deep integration of modern information technology and education and teaching, the virtual reality technology represented by human-computer interaction has gradually received widespread attention from different scholars and institutions at home and abroad. In order to explore and build a virtual simulation national gold class, create a new teaching paradigm of "VR+teaching",and effectively improve the quality of personnel training and teaching results. This study applies virtual reality technology to college table tennis assisted teaching, enabling learners to complete real-time interaction of multiple senses with the help of HTC Vive sensor devices in virtual sports situations, and combining target incentive feedback mechanisms to improve students' self-efficacy and Learning interest and using practice to explore the teaching effect and potential value achieved can not only promote the diversified development of sports skills learning, but also provide a reference for the application of virtual reality technology in physical education. In this study,97 college students of the second-year non-sports professional table tennis elective course of Northwest Normal University were used as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Using research methods such as literature data method, questionnaire survey method, experimental method, mathematical statistics method, etc.,the sports interactive virtual reality equipment and teaching resources are applied to college table tennis teaching, and the physical education subject knowledge system is used to design the teaching link scheme. After 18 weeks of supplementary teaching intervention in the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year,a comparative analysis of the changes in learners' emotional attitudes and academic performance data before and after the experiment was conducted to verify the scientific hypothesis that virtual reality technology can improve the effectiveness of table tennis teaching.Conclusion:1.Applying virtual reality technology to college table tennis teaching allows students to quickly enter roles, effectively improving the boredom caused by dullness and failure to hit the ball during the table tennis learning process. While acquiring theknowledge and skills of table tennis, actively explore and complete the construction of new knowledge. It provides a new teaching concept for the reform of table tennis teaching in colleges and diversified development of physical education curriculum, and also promotes the deep integration of education informationization and physical education in the new period.2.The application of virtual reality technology and video resources to college table tennis option courses can be used as a means to stimulate the potential learning effect of learners, while awakening the interest in sports situations and promoting the improvement of sports skills.Attitude did not produce a positive promotion effect.Secondly, different teaching methods are difficult to form an effective stimulating effect on physical fitness.3.The table tennis assisted teaching mode integrated with virtual reality technology shows better superiority in the promotion of learners' learning interest and athletic performance than the video teaching classes and traditional teaching classes;the experimental class is more effective in improving the autonomous learning ability. There are significant differences in traditional teaching classes;in contrast, physical fitness indicators, different groups have not achieved good practical results after the experiment.4.Virtual reality technology has a moderate positive impact on the learning effects of multidisciplinary learners.
