The development of society makes us come into contact with a large amount of mathematical information every day,and this information has penetrated into all aspects of our daily life,and has a huge impact on our study,work and life.In the face of changes in the objective world,it is important to have the ability to process and judge information quickly,and this ability requires us to have a good sense of numbers.In recent years,issues related to "Number Sense" have become one of the research hot spots in the field of mathematical education at home and abroad.In this research,the author designed a game-based teaching model based on the Matific platform,which aims to help elementary students generate situational experience and gain specific experience through educational games,form rational cognition in the accumulation of experience so as to cultivate their number sense.The author carried out experiments in two classes of X primary school,X City,G Province.The author collecting process data such as questionnaires,interviews,number-sense test scores,mid-term and final exam results,then comparing and analyzing the data by Excel and SPSS25.0 verify the effectiveness of the model.This research has three phases,they are theoretical research phase,model construction phase and empirical research phase.The theoretical research phase is to sort out the related research on game-based teaching,number sense cultivation,and game-based teaching to support number sense cultivation,clarify the concepts of game-based teaching and number sense,and use mature number sense measurement tools so as to lay the foundation for the later research.The mode construction phase is guided by the new curriculum standards,following the specific target requirements for primary school students' number sense cultivation in the new curriculum standards.Starting from the problems existing in primary school number cultivation,exploring the functional advantages of Matific platform for primary school number sense cultivation.Based on the theoretical foundation,combining with advantages of Matific,designing each link of the teaching model according to certain principles,and finally building a game-based teachingmodel based on Matific platform.The empirical research phase combining the specific knowledge content of the number sense in the mathematics textbook,proceeding practical application of the game-based teaching model based on the Matific platform,collecting process data during the experiment and comparing and analyzing it,verifying the research hypothesis and the validity of the model.This research constructs a game-based teaching model based on the Matific platform aimed at cultivating primary school students' number sense.It includes three stages: pre-class self-learning stage,in-class experience learning stage,and after-class consolidation and strengthening stage.The results show that the game-based teaching model based on the Matific platform can effectively cultivate primary school students' number sense.On the one hand,the teaching model can stimulate students' interest in learning and attract students' attention.On the other hand,students and teachers think highly of the teaching model,and after using the teaching model for a period of time,students have improved all aspects of the number sense,and the level of number sense has been significantly improved.
