In the 21 st century,talents are the driving force and source for promoting sustainable development of the country and gaining competitive advantage.As a gathering place for talents,attracting,motivating and retaining a large number of outstanding talents is the key to the sustainable and healthy development of universities.As the principal part of university talents,teachers play a vital role.However,due to the implementation of the appointment system and the development trend of the marketization,coupled with the war for talent,the mobility of teachers has increased.This phenomenon has caused a strong impact on the development of universities,which urgently need to explore effective ways to motivate and retain talents.The emergence of employer brand has provided appropriate measures for enterprises to attract,motivate and retain talents.Therefore,combined with the social development situation,this article tried to introduce employer brand into universities,attempting to investigate and demonstrate the relationship between employer brand and teachers' subjective well-being.Based on employer brand and psychological contract theory,this paper explored the relationships between university employer brand and teachers' subjective well-being by questionnaire investigation from the teachers,building the track of employer brandpsychological contract-teachers' subjective well-being,so that we can open the “theory black box”.Job satisfaction and work engagement are important components of subjective well-being,so this study focused on them.Through the verification of theoretical model and research hypothesis,it is found that university employer brand has a significant positive impact on job satisfaction and work engagement.At the same time,employer brand of universities influences them through psychological contract.Based on this conclusion,it can be inferred that university employer brand can improve teachers' job satisfaction and work engagement.Further discovered was that if a good psychological contract relationship is established between organization and employees,the influence is more profound.Therefore,universities should pay more attention to construct the employer brand,establish brand awareness and push the publicity work,as well as give full play to the role of symbolic factor.At the same time,establishing a stable psychological contract relationship has an important impact on teachers' job satisfaction and work engagement.Finally,the article summarized the whole dissertation,pointed out the inadequacies of research and the direction of further efforts.
