In recent years,school bullying has been frequently listed on the "hot search list",which has triggered a wide discussion in all walks of life.The occurrence of school bullying has brought varying degrees of influence to the students' study,interpersonal communication,personality formation and other aspects.As an important social support system,family plays an important role in the healthy growth of individuals.Among them,studies have shown that positive family parenting can have a inhibitory effect on school bullying,while negative parenting has the opposite effect.However,not all individuals living in families with negative parenting will show bullying behavior.The reason is that many scholars have found that individuals with strong empathy ability are less likely to cause school bullying.Although a large number of studies have explored the influence of family rearing style and empathy on school bullying in junior high school students,few studies have found a joint study on the relationship between the three,and it is still unclear whether empathy plays an intermediary role.Based on this,this research adopts high school bullying behavior questionnaire,personal response pointer questionnaire,family parenting scale of Y city four middle schools in Shaanxi Province the first grade to grade,a total of 880 students way of family nurture,empathy ability as well as the investigation on the current situation of bullying,and combined with T test,analysis of variance,regression and other statistical analysis method to deal with data,the results showed that:(1)bullying and bullying behaviors of junior high school students are slightly lower than the theoretical median;The family rearing mode is dominated by emotional warmth;Overall,empathy is above average.(2)the family rearing style,empathy and bullying behaviors of junior high school students are significantly different in variables such as gender,grade,place of origin and whether they are class cadres or not.(3)in terms of the relationship between school bullying and family rearingmodes,the family rearing modes of junior high school students have a significantly positive correlation with school bullying in the dimensions of rejection and over-protection,and a significantly negative correlation with school bullying and being bullied in the dimension of emotional warmth.(4)in terms of the relationship between school bullying and empathy,there is a significant negative correlation between school bullying,bullying behavior and empathy ability in junior high school students.(5)in terms of the relationship between family rearing style and empathy,there is a significant negative correlation between parental rejection and empathy,a significant positive correlation between parental emotional warmth and empathy,but only a significant negative correlation between parental over-protection and viewpoint selection.(6)in terms of the prediction of school bullying by family parenting style and empathy,parental emotional warmth and total score of empathy can negatively predict school bullying and bullying,and there are significant differences.Parental emotional warmth and mother's over-protection can positively predict empathy,while father refuses to negatively predict empathy.(7)empathy plays a part in mediating between family rearing style and bullying of junior high school students.
