Textbooks are an importants basis for teachers to "teach" and students to "learn",a good textbook can better reflect a country's educational philosophy,educational system and cultural accumulation.The United States is recognized as a sports power in the world,and the education in Massachusetts has always been in the leading position in the United States,so it has certain reference and guiding significance for the research of the current 6-12 grade "PE" textbooks in Massachusetts..This article uses the 2013 edition of the American Human Movement Press,Massachusetts Middle School Grades 6-8 "PE" textbook as the research object,mainly using the literature method,case study method,content analysis method,and the background,purpose,and subject of the textbook.After analyzing the framework and specific content,the research results found that:1.Massachusetts Middle School "PE" grades 6-8 textbooks focus on the introduction of students 'situational patterns,emphasizing students' personalized and lifelong learning goals;emphasizing the learning of emerging projects,mainly through the knowledge window Question and answer sessions to strengthen students 'creative learning abilities.2.Massachusetts Middle School grades 6-8 "PE" textbook content promotes the integration of daily activities through breaks,clubs and other special activities in physical health to improve physical fitness.It is very meticulous in dealing with the psychology of middle school students.It adopts different coping methods for students of different ages,and uses case analysis to change and adjust in time according to the status of school conditions.3.Massachusetts Middle School grades 6-8 "PE" textbooks emphasizes the impact of sports skills on society,and focus on strengthening the significance of community sports and promoting communication and cooperation between communities.4.Massachusetts currently uses middle school grades 6-8 "PE" textbook content to promote physical activity through breaks,clubs and other special activities in daily life,to improve physical fitness.Massachusetts middle school "PE" grade 6-8 textbook content has the following enlightenment to the development of sports in China: 1)It can strengthen the level of the textbook object;2)Set fine standards for content;3)Specific and in-depth sports for all;4)Mental health One-to-one correspondence and diversified evaluation types;5)The setting of sports events can be modernized.
