In the early 20 th century,the related ideas of geography classroom construction in China began to be put forward and gradually paid attention to.The reform of geography curriculum has been deepened constantly,which puts forward higher requirements on students' learning methods and teachers' teaching methods.The soft and hard conditions of traditional classroom teaching have lagged behind the needs of modern geography classroom teaching,which requires the updating of teaching methods to meet the needs of The Times.In the revised geography curriculum standards of ordinary high schools in 2017,relevant Suggestions on geography classroom were put forward.As the environmental conditions of geography teaching in the school,geography classroom was included in the new curriculum standards.Therefore,the construction and use of efficient and practical geography classroom is necessary and urgent for geography teaching.Geography classroom plays an important role in the construction of student-centered classroom teaching,the improvement of teaching intuition,and the breakthrough of key and difficult points.Although schools in various regions responded to the call of the new curriculum reform and spent material resources and financial resources to build modern geography classrooms,the utilization rate was low,and there were improper and problems in the use.Some schools even did not build geography classrooms.It is of great significance for the improvement of geography teaching to explore how to make full and effective use of geography classroom for classroom teaching and improve the teaching effect.In this paper,the origin and development of geography classroom at home and abroad are summarized by using literature research method,according to literature,works and network data,the related concepts and theoretical basis of geography classroom are summarized,and the construction and use of geography classroom are found out.In addition,based on the relevant introduction and analysis of the curriculum structure in the interpretation of the new curriculum standard,the resources suitable for the compulsory geography teaching in high school are sorted out in the geography classroom.According to find problems and the analysis of the new curriculum structure,combined with related theory,using the method of questionnaire investigation,interview and on-the-spot investigation method,system research,investigation,to active in a line of geography teachers and students a questionnaire,and interviews with teachers,some geography classroom,field trips to obtain information about the construction and the usage of the geography classroom,on the processing and analysis,summarizes the high school geography teaching in the use of the geography classroom problems,put forward the effective utilization of the geography classroom,on the analysis to improve the quality of classroom teaching.Through literature research and investigation,the author preliminarily understood the problems existing in the use of geography classroom in high school geography teaching.In view of these problems,the author explored the Suggestions for improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching by using geography classroom:1.Actively study and participate in geography classroom to enhance the understanding of the geography classroom and the ability to use and operate the equipment;2.Improve the protection measures of the geography classroom,and improve the openness of the geography classroom;3.Update educational concepts and innovate teaching methods;4.Optimize the teaching mode,focusing on summary and practice;5.Organize the class effectively and guide the students to allocate attention reasonably.Through these Suggestions,the author hopes to raise the importance of high school geography teaching on the use of geography classroom,provide support and guidance for the effective use of geography classroom,and promote the improvement of the effectiveness of classroom teaching.
