As a tool to assist physical exercise in the Internet era,fitness applications is deeply supported by young groups.As the main force of university students,ordinary college students are also one of the main users of the applications.Extracurricular physical activity is an important components of sports lifestyle and college students are the main force in students populations,so it is very helpful to research the topic whether fitness applications could influence the fitness behavior of university students or not and what are the implications.With Questionnaire,this dissertation investigates the after-school physical exercise behavior and the usage of these apps of 541 students in 6 universities in Shanghai,then making a comparative analysis of different genders,grades and college students,analyzing the influence of these applications for their physical activities with Documentation Act,Mathematical Statistics and Logical Analysis.The conclusions are as following: most Shanghai college students have afterschool physical exercise behavior,but the strength is not deep.There are significant differences in different gender,grade and college,on the whole,male is superior to female,junior grade is superior to senior grade,and junior college students is superior to general colleges and key colleges.Over 90% of Shanghai graduates have used fitness applications,but the acquaintance for it is not comprehensive enough,the overall utility time is short.Besides,there are differences in the time of fitness APP among ordinary college students in different grades and colleges.Senior students have longer APP duration,junior grade students use the apps more frequently and graduates have more intense usage than other grades.Moreover,junior college students and ordinary university students are more active to do fitness than key university students,which reflects on exercise frequency,time,strength,expense and so on.In physical exercise phase,behavior change degree,time,intensity,stage,frequency,consumption,physical exercise consciousness and so on,university students who use fitness applications are more active than those who do not use.The continuous utility time and single utility time have an impact on college students' after-school physical exercise behavior.For example,college students with long continuous usage are better than those with short time in after-school exercise as a whole and with long single time are also more active in after-school exercise.Therefore,the dissertation puts forward the following suggestions: to solve the problem that the post-school physical exercise behavior of college students needs to be strengthened.So the college league committee should set up the concept of lifelong physical education and happy physical education for college students,by integrating after-school physical exercise into life rather than as a short-term means to meet specific needs.Besides,making good use of the resources of physical education classes and student associations to do physical exercise,conducting regular lectures on physical health education,and encouraging college students to use fitness applications or similar tools to plan and supervise after-school physical exercise.To develop the fitness applications,the launchers should combine the needs of the current market and the characteristics of the target user population and issue targeted training courses and functions.Furthermore,the content of them should be deep rather than general and solving the homogenization of these apps because of the serious market competition.Last,truly meeting the needs of users and creating a deeper level of sport's needs,guide customers to do physical exercise,so that the apps can be coaches rather than just sparring.College students can use all kinds of aids to help their after-school physical exercise behavior,at the same time,they should have clear purpose of their physical exercise,set up the concept of healthy physical exercise,arrange the exercise time reasonably,treat the data and feedback rationally,let the fitness APP really play its positive influence and make the students cultivate more regular and scientific physical exercise habits.
