Objective: to promote the physical activity of children and adolescents has become an important topic in the field of health. In countries where students' academic performance has been paid more attention by parents, teachers and so on,children and adolescents' excessive participation in physical activities is considered as one of the possible factors hindering the improvement of students' academic performance.Children and adolescents in China are regarded as one of the groups with high academic pressure in the world, especially in the Yangtze River Delta. However, when students' academic performance is highly concerned by the public, people may neglect the influence of physical activity on the academic stress of children and adolescents. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to first understand the basic situation of physical activity, academic performance and academic pressure of children and adolescents in the some areas of Yangtze River Delta;secondly, analyze the relationship between physical activity and academic performance and academic pressure of children and adolescents in the some areas of Yangtze River Delta,in order to try to answer whether children and adolescents' participation in physical activity will affect their academic situation, which parents, teachers, etc.are concerned about Problem. Methods: the literature data method was used to search in Chinese and foreign databases such as Web of Science and CNKI.Collecting documents provided support for the research.Using questionnaires to take students' self-reported Moderate-toVigorous Physical Activity(MVPA),academic performance, and academic pressure as indicators, and used a multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method, included 2838 8-to 19-year-old(average age: 13.1 ± 2.39 years old;Male students: 46.9%)in some areas of Yangtze River Delta participants, explored the relationship between physical activity and their academic performance and academic pressure among children and adolescents.Used SPSS 25.0 statistical analysis, used the mean and percentage to investigate the basic situation in descriptive statistics;used the chi-square test to compare the differences in indicators between different genders, school segments, nationalities, parents' education, socioeconomic levels and regions;Correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between MVPA days of a week, school days and weekends, and academic performance and academic stress, respectively.Binary logistic regression was used to analyze whether children and adolescents reached the recommended physical activity(On week, school day and weekend)and their academic performance and academic pressure. Results: in a week,10.4% of children and adolescents achieved the recommended amount of physical activity. There was a positive correlation between the number of days of children and adolescents participating in at least one hour of moderate to vigours physical activity(MVPA)(p < 0.01),school day participating in at least one hour of MVPA(p < 0.01),weekend participating in at least one hour of MVPA(p < 0.01)and their academic performance and academic stress, and there was a very significant statistical significance. From the perspective of academic performance,on school days and weekends, for children and adolescents who fail to meet the PA recommendation, the probability of better academic performance reported by children and adolescents who meet the PA recommendation were 1.46 and 1.61,respectively,and they all met the PA recommendation with statistical significance(95% CI is not the same, the range is 1.03-2.07 and 1.14-2.54 respectively);for junior high school students in different grades,in one week, school day and weekend, for children and adolescents who fail to meet the PA recommendation, the probability of better academic performance reported by children and adolescents who meet the PA recommendation were 2.12,1.87 and 3.17 respectively, and their PA recommendation is statistically significant(95% CI did not coincide, and the range was 1.02-4.36,1.19-2.93 and 1.48-6.81,respectively).From the perspective of academic pressure,in one week and weekend, for children and adolescents who did not met the PA recommendation, the probability of academic pressure of children and adolescents who reported to meet the PA recommendation were 1.76 and 1.52 respectively, and they reached the PA recommendation was statistically significant(95% CI did not coincide, the range was 1.25-2.50 and 1.15-2.01 respectively). From the perspective of gender,in one week, school day and weekend, for the girls who did not met the PA recommendation, the probability of academic pressure of children and adolescents who reported to meet the PA recommendation were 2.21,1.55 and 1.69 respectively, and they were statistically significant(95% CI did not coincide, the range was 1.32-3.71,1.02-2.36 and 1.12-2.54 respectively). Conclusion: there were positive relationship between children's physical activity and their academic performance and academic pressure in these areas.Especially in the junior middle school, children and adolescents who engage in more physical activities are more likely to report better academic performance. In addition, compared with boys, girls in these areas reported more physical activity and more likely to have no academic pressure. It shows that promoting children and adolescents to participate in more physical activities may improve students' academic performance and relieve their academic pressure. Therefore, more comprehensive research is needed in the future to provide more reference for the related research of physical activity, children's and adolescents' academic performance and academic pressure,so as to promote students to participate in physical activity and achieve the optimal effect of improving their academic performance and reducing academic pressure. In addition,we need to pay attention to the differences between different genders and different grades of children and adolescents when we pay attention to the physical activity on their academic performance and academic pressure. In addition, departments at all levels need to pay more attention to senior students.
