Abstract/Summary:
Employment quality is one of the important measures of students' ability and quality of college education.As the "elite layer" at the top of the Education pyramid,masters graduated from "double first-class" universities,have received extensive attention from all parties in the education process for their employability and employment quality.How to deal with the severe employment environment,what kind of pressure management strategies and ability improvement methods should be adopted to promote higher employment quality have become important issues for both students and education managers.In order to solve the above problems,this study lays a foundation for the scientific selection of employment stress and employability indicator,and the employment quality influence model building through extensive literature survey.Based on the survey data,this study conducts the differential comparison between gender,degree type,major type,type of relationship with supervisor and undergraduate school level,as well as the relation among employment stress,employability and employment quality.At the same time,this study builds the employment quality influence model of students' employment stress and employability,inspects the mediating effect of employability in the employment quality influence model,explores whether there is moderating effect of those category variables.Through the data statistics combined with interviews,this study found that: first,masters from “Double First-Class” colleges have the characteristics of medium employment stress,high employability,and high quality of employment;Second,gender,degree type,major type,relationships with supervisors,undergraduate school level have significant difference on the employment stress,employability,and employment quality;Third,there is a significant negative correlation between employment stress and employment quality,there is a significant positive correlation between employability and employment quality,there is a significant negative correlation between employment stress and employability;Forth,employability plays an mediator role in employment stress affecting employment quality,there is moderating effect of gender,degree type and major type in the model.In view of the above findings,this paper proposes some suggestions for the masters and school administrators.Suggestions for the masters: establish a correct view of employment and effectively manage employment pressure;cultivate the consciousness of career planning and make targeted preparation for employment;keep finding weaknesses and enhance effective communication with supervisors.Suggestions for the school administrators: pay attention to the difference of students;guide students to make reasonable self-positioning,grasp the different effects of employment pressure;schools should define their own positioning and develop in a distinctive way in order to enhance the students' employability;continuously improve the tutorial system for the masters and give full play to the value of a mentor.
