Purpose: With the rapid increase in the aging of the global population, bone and muscle related diseases have become a serious public health problem. The elderly have reduced muscle mass, decreased physical function, increased hospitalization probability, increased family and social medical burden, affected the elderly's quality of life, and even severe cases can lead to elderly death.Scholars at home and abroad have defined the syndrome of progressive systemic muscle loss, decreased muscle strength,or muscular dysfunction related to aging as sarcopenia, and carried out related research to improve sarcopenia from multiple fields such as sports, nutrition and drug intervention.,Achieved a certain effect. This study uses experimental intervention research methods to verify that sarcopenia can reduce muscle mass and exercise capacity in the elderly, and further clarify the impact of resistance exercise on many physical functions of the sarcopenia elderly, and the same exercise intervention on sarcopenia elderly Whether the effect is the same for people with normal muscle mass. The purpose of this study is to verify that resistance exercise can improve the symptoms of sarcopenia in the elderly, increase their daily activities, reduce the risk of falls, and ultimately improve their quality of life, providing a theoretical basis for the treatment of sarcopenia in the future. The academic guidance of physical activity for the elderly with sarcopenia provides scientific theoretical basis. It is confirmed that the effect of exercise intervention on the muscle mass and exercise capacity of the elderly with sarcopenia not only enriches the research results of sarcopenia exercise therapy, but also aims at targeting the general background of “National Fitness Exercise” and“Healthy China 2030 Program Outline”.The actual situation of different elderly populations, the development of individualized sports interventionhealth programs,to provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of sarcomas in the elderly, reduce the risk of falls in the elderly, and promote the health of the elderly. Methods: Taking Fukang Senior Apartment in Hohhot as a research experiment base, this research was divided into three steps.First,312 elderly people living in the apartment were tested for related indicators, and screening for sarcopenia was carried out to determine the incidence of sarcopenia in the elderly in the apartment.Secondly,60 elderly people from this apartment were selected as the research object, and they were divided into the sarcoidosis group(experimental group)and normal muscle mass group(control group). The indicators of the two groups of elderly were compared before the experiment, and the two groups of elderly were analyzed.Differences in various indicators clarify the characteristics of exercise capacity and muscle mass in the elderly with sarcopenia.Third,three-month resistance exercise intervention was performed on the two groups of elderly people to verify the effect of resistance training on the muscle mass and exercise capacity of the elderly.Result:(1)Through screening and testing of 312 elderly people(181 males and 131 females)in the apartment,22 males and 13 females with sarcopenia were found. The prevalence of male and female was 12.2%,9.9%,the overall prevalence was 11.2%.(2)After analysis of various indicators of the two groups of elderly people before the experiment,it was found that the physical function of the elderly with sarcopenia was generally lower than that of the normal muscle group.Among them, the sarcoma group had 6m stride, grip strength,30 s sitting, weight, and BMI were lower than those of the normal group(p <0.05).The balance ability, total body mass, limb muscle index, and bone density were different from those of the normal group.Larger(p <0.01).Women with sarcopenia had lower body weight,BMI,and bone density than women with normal muscle mass(p <0.05),balance ability,6m pace, grip strength,30 s sitting, body muscle mass, limb muscle index and muscle mass women The difference was even greater(p <0.01).(3)After three months of resistance exercise intervention, the physical function of the two groups of elderly people was improved to a certain extent.Among them, the sarcomatous group had a balance ability,a 6m pace,a grip strength,a 30 s sitting position,a full body muscle mass, and a limb muscle. The index was positively improved(P <0.01),and women's balance ability,6m pace, grip strength,30 s sitting, body muscle mass, and limb muscle index significantly improved(P <0.01).Men with normal muscle mass were able to improve their balance ability,6m pace, grip strength,30 s sitting position, overall muscle mass, and limb muscle index(P <0.01).Women's balance ability,6m pace, grip strength,30 s sitting position, and whole body muscles were positively improved.Weight and limb muscle index increased significantly(P <0.01).(4)After the intervention, the physical functions of the two groups of elderly people were improved to a certain extent, but the increase was different between the two groups.Specifically, the men with normal muscle mass improved at 6m pace,30 s sitting, total body muscle mass, and limb muscle index. The amplitude was greater than that of sarcomatous men,and the results were statistically significant(P <0.05).Women with normal muscle mass improved the balance,6m pace,30 s sitting, overall muscle mass, and limb muscle index improvement more than women with sarcopenia, and the results were statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)The overall prevalence of sarcopenia in elderly apartments is11.2%,and there are more men than women(prevalence rate is 12.2% for men and 9.9% for women).(2)The balance ability, grip strength,6m pace,30 s sitting, bodymuscle mass, limb muscle index, and bone density of sarcopenia elderly are lower or worse than those with normal muscle mass.(3)Anti-resistance exercise intervention can increase the muscle mass of the elderly with sarcopenia and normal muscle mass, and improve their balance ability, strength and muscle function.(4)Implementing the same time and intensity of resistance intervention measures, the intervention effect of the elderly with sarcopenia is significantly lower than that of the elderly with normal muscle mass.
