Symbolic-graphic combination is one of the common mathematical thought in secondary school mathematics and must be mastered by middle school students.Symbol and graph affect each other,learning how to analyze mathematical problems from symbol to graph or graph to symbol can help us find solutions to problems faster.Trigonometric function is one of important contents in senior middle school mathematics.It is an important function model to describe periodic phenomena.It can not only ful y reflect symbolic-graphic combination,but also teach students to use symbolic-graphic combination to solve mathematical problems and improve their mathematical ability.However,high school students cannot easily accept symbolic-graphic combinat io n when they first learn trigonometric function,their level of mathematical thinking is insufficient.After learning trigonometric function,they still find it difficult to apply the knowledge to solve mathematical problems.With the development of students' mathematical thinking,students are more likely to accept knowledge in the review classes of trigonometric function than in the beginning.Therefore,it is extremely important to sublimate the knowledge in the review classes of trigonometric functio n and to strengthen symbolic-graphic combination embodied in the knowledge and to apply it.This study tries to find an effective way for students to understand trigonometric function again from the perspective of symbolic-graphic combination and to use it to solve mathematical problems.In this study,firstly,according to a large number of literatures,it is understood that the brief history of trigonometric function development,the importance of trigonometric function and symbolic-graphic combination in middle school mathematics,the status of the review classes and the present teaching situation and difficulties of trigonometric function and so on.Analyzing the national college entrance examination mathematics in recent 5 years is to understand the examination form of trigonometric function in college entrance examination.Secondly,questionnaire survey is adopted to understand the students' overall learning situation of trigonome tr ic function,their mastery of symbolic-graphic combination,and their demands for the review lessons.At the same time,it is to understand the teaching method of trigonometric function review classes,the key points in the class and the penetration way of symbolic-graphic combination by interviewing the teachers.Finally,several teaching strategies are proposed based on the problems found in the above survey,and make the teaching overall plan for the trigonometric function review lessons according to the teaching strategies,and take a teaching case as an example to il ustrate how to strengthen symbolic-graphic combination of students in trigonometric function review lessons.This study can not only make students consciously strengthen the symbolicgraphic combination in trigonometric function,improve their mathematical ability,but also provide a reference for teachers' teaching projection,and enhance the penetration of the symbolic-graphic combination in trigonometric function review lessons,which has high practical value.
