Since the ministry of education put forward the concept of "core literacy system" in 2014,it has attracted wide attention in the society in September 2016.In recent years,the education and evaluation of core literacy has attracted more and more attention around the world,and has become the basis for education departments to formulate education policies and carry out education and teaching reform.The core literacy of chemistry discipline is the critical literacythat students develop in the process of chemical cognition and solve chemical problems.It comprehensively demonstrates the correct values,essential characters and key abilities formed by students' learning of chemistry discipline.The core literacy of "macroscopic identification and microscopic analysis" mainly emphasizes not only understanding and analyzing chemistry from the macroscopic or microscopic perspective,but also forming the chemical concept of "structure determines property" and "property determines use" by combining macro and micro.Firstly,the meaning of the core literacy,chemistry core literacy,macro identification and micro analysis,and teaching strategy were elaborated in this paper.Then the relevant literature was summarized and analyzed.On this basis,typical cases of nonmetal and its compounds are selected to carry out teaching practice,and the teaching effect was analyzed in detail through teacher interview and test result analysis.The main purpose of this study is to be able to explore the students' elemental compound cognitive ability through pretest questionnaires and student interviews before the new teaching of the elemental compound content of the compulsory module,and understand the difficulties in their learning process.Optimize teaching design.Carefully design teaching and implement teaching,step by step to help students design and build models for the actual understanding of element compounds,enhance students' ability to understand element compounds and comprehensive literacy,help students understand substances from the perspective of macro and micro integrationAfter the teaching,the students' knowledge and ability to solve the problems of the nature of the elemental substance and its conversion process were tested and comprehensively evaluated.Then,according to the teaching practice,the effective teaching strategy of compulsory module element compound teaching to enhance the core literacy of students' chemistry subject is summarized.The results showed that the students' study interest and academic performancewere improved,andcognitive ability on material structure,property and transformation as well as their core literacy in chemistrywere also improvedeffectively by teaching practice of element compound guided by "macro and micro combination".Building a core competency model for elements and their compounds is critical when studying elements and their compounds chapters.The specific strategies are as follows: 1.Pay attention to the whole process of the train of thought,the teacher guides the students to express their own ideas,thoughts and logic in the process of questioning and evaluation,and exchange their own ideas with other students.2.In the process of teaching,teachers create some experimental exploration activities of material properties.3.Teaching activities should be carried out based on real life and production situations.
