In 2013,the ethnic education department of the ministry of education proposed to "focus on strengthening science teaching in ethnic minority areas",and stressed that "science teaching is the breakthrough to comprehensively improve the quality of basic education in schools in ethnic minority areas".Minority students are the main force in the future construction of minority areas and their ability is directly related to the development of minority areas.Yunnan is a province with a large number of ethnic minorities,with 52 ethnic minorities.There are 25 ethnic minorities living in Yunnan.The ethnic minority population accounts for one third of the total population of the whole province.The development of education in Yunnan ethnic areas plays an important role in the development of basic education in China's ethnic areas.The cognitive ability of chemical model is an important component of the core accomplishment of chemistry and the core of the discipline concept.This study will be through the establishment of high school chemistry model of cognitive assessment system and assessment tests to measure chemical model of Yunnan minority areas students cognitive ability,for the local line chemical teachers better understand the students' ability of cognitive model and targeted to take strategies improve the quality of high school chemistry teaching ideas and inspiration.The study is divided into four major parts.Details are as follows:First,literature review was conducted on the cognitive ability of chemical models,the development status of science education in Yunnan ethnic minority areas,and the cognitive characteristics of Yunnan ethnic students,to clarify the core concepts of ethnic areas,model and classification,and cognitive ability of chemical models.On the basis of the new curriculum standard and bloom educational target taxonomy,the cognitive ability evaluation index of chemical model of senior high school students in ethnic areas is formed.Combining with the cognitive characteristics of the students in the ethnic areas of Yunnan,the evaluation index weight was assigned by the analytic hierarchy process(ahp),and the evaluation system of the cognitive ability of high school students with ethnic characteristics was established.Second,according to the assessment system established above,the chemical college entrance examination questions in recent five years were selected from all over the country,and the test paper was prepared with 2-3 times of the test paper.In a certain ethnic middle school in Yunnan province,two senior high school classes were selected to carry out the test and collect the data for processing.The reliability,validity,difficulty and differentiation of each question of the initial test paper were analyzed,and the first-line chemistry teachers' expert validity survey was conducted on the initial test paper at the same time of the implementation of the initial test,and the test paper was screened and revised based on the results of data processing and expert opinions,so as to form the actual test paper.Third,the survey was carried out in 16 ethnic middle schools in 8 cities,including Kunming city,Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture,Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture,Diqing Tibetan autonomous prefecture,and Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture,with a total of 3,055 high school students from 28 ethnic groups participating.After correcting the examination papers,the statistical analysis of the data and the interview with the teachers were conducted,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The overall cognitive ability of chemical models of senior high school students in minority areas of Yunnan province is in the middle and upper level,in which the ability to recognize and understand models is higher,followed by the ability to use models,and the ability to analyze and construct models that requires more thinking and processing scores are lower.(2)Among the students who took part in the test in different regions of Yunnan province,the high school students in Kunming and Pu 'er had the highest level of chemical model cognition,and their sub-abilities were evenly distributed.Nujiang and Diqing are next,and their students' analytical model ability is higher than that of other prefectures.Dali prefecture,Xishuangbanna,Dehong and Wenshan were slightly behind,slightly lower than the average level of Yunnan province.The reasons for the lag are mainly related to students and their parents.(3)Students has carried on the classification and selection of all ethnic groups to participate in a representative of several national in more schools,the number of students are compared,and the chemical model of cognitive differences found chemical model of different nationality students cognitive ability does not exist significant differences,explain from different ethnic groups and not the influencing factors of chemical model of cognitive ability.(4)Although the questions selected in the test paper are compulsory contents that have been taught in senior one,the score of senior three students is significantly higher than that of senior two students,especially the basic parts such as cognitive model and understanding model,which indicates that the cognitive ability of chemical model can be improved to a certain extent through deeper learning and review.Finally,based on the literature review and the conclusions and problems found in the research process,Suggestions and Suggestions are put forward from the perspective of teachers' teaching process and students' learning process,hoping to provide some reference for teachers' teaching practice.At the same time,the deficiencies and omissions of this research are reflected and summarized,hoping to provide enlightenment and direction for the follow-up research and practice.
