Life is everyone's most precious property,is very unique and cannot be copied,people should give life enough respect and protection,so that life can play its value,let life get full development.In recent years,there have been numerous news reports on the suicides of primary school students,school violence,crowd fighting and other situations of indifference to life.Primary school students are in the childhood stage,which is an important stage for the initial socialization of people,so life education is very important for their growth.It is of great significance for the healthy growth of primary school students to enhance their awareness of cherishing and protecting life with the concept of life education,so that they can feel the value of life and learn how to protect life by themselves.This paper takes the practical life education of WX primary school in Changsha city as an example,and collects the development of life education in WX primary school and students' understanding of life education contents through questionnaire survey.It is found that few life education activities have been carried out in the school before,and students have little understanding of life education contents.Based on this situation,this paper takes primary school students' life education as the theme to carry out social work services.Through questionnaire data analysis and interviews to understand the actual situation,finally select the group social work method to carry out life education service activities.Based on the goals of the school and the institution,under the guidance of social learning theory and humanism,the group plan was formulated,the life education study group was established,and the life education service activities were carried out.In the process of service development,the actual effect of social work intervention in life education is tested.Through the later feedback form and follow-up visit and evaluation,the members of the life education learning group have deepened their understanding of life,and their awareness of cherishing life and protecting life has been significantly improved.Finally,summarize and reflect on the problems in the process of life education group development,put forward countermeasures and Suggestions,make up for the shortcomings in the process of practical research.The successful development of the life education learning group provides experience and reference for the later research on the involvement of social work in life education.At the same time,in the process of social work intervening in the life education of primary school students,it contributes to the healthy growth of primary school students.
