Concepts form the basis of all disciplines, there are a lot of misconception in the students' mind before learning the scientific concepts, and the more complex the concepts is,the more and more difficult the misconception to be changed, the greater impact to be made on the learning of science concepts. It is found that argumentative teaching can promote the transformation of misconception and the establishment of scientific concepts through reading the literature. However, the research on argumentative teaching based on Turmin's argumentation model is very less,it is significant to carry out the concept change teaching based on Turmin's argumentation model. The literature has been reviewed to learn the research background and significant, research status at home and abroad and related theoretical basis, the functional elements and two modes of Turmin's argumentation model have been studied. The teachers of practice school have been interviewed to know the teachers' understanding of chemical misconception and its influence on teaching including the teaching methods and strategies used by teachers in practical teaching.A series of two-stage questionnaire has been used to explore the students' misconception of hydrolysis of salts.Four classes have been chosen to investigate the basic knowledge of hydrolysis of salts through a two-stage questionnaire, the key class is selected to enrich the sample. Two classes with similar scores have been selected to make an investigation upon teaching practice of misconception, the other two have been conducted a two-stage questionnaire survey to understand the misconception of salt hydrolysis.Combined with Turmin's argumentation model, the author puts forward the teaching strategy of arousing cognitive conflict, making students' argumentation clear and setting up problem chain, improving students' argumentation level and analyzing variant problems, grasping the essence of concept after the teachers' interview and two-stage questionnaire survey. The two-stage investigation of salt hydrolysis misconception was carried out in the experimental class and control class respectively.Research has shown, there are a large number of misconception in students' mind before their learning, but teachers pay less attention in the actual teaching and it is of practical significance to introduce Turmin's argumentation model into the teaching of transformation of chemical misconception, the teaching strategy which based on the Turmin's argumentation model can change the students' misconception and Turmin's argumentation model has a better effect on high-level abstract concepts, not on low-level abstract concepts.
