As an important part of middle school mathematics,sequence knowledge contains a lot of thinking methods,which is an important carrier of mathematics core literacy.It can cultivate students' abilities of abstract generalization,reasoning and demonstration,operation and solution,data processing,etc.,and it is also a link between middle school and higher mathematics.Because the content of sequence contains many knowledge points and problem-solving methods,it is very complicated for high school students Some learning difficulties,so this paper through the high school students' learning situation survey,understand the learning situation,analyze the reasons,and put forward some teaching suggestions,in order to provide some teaching reference for the frontline teachers.According to the requirements of the 2017 version of the new curriculum standard for the knowledge of the number series,the author first analyzes the status of the number series in the college entrance examination,the importance of reflecting the core literacy and the types of test questions in the college entrance examination,and determines the main research problems of this study.Secondly,in the research and analysis of a large number of relevant literature,related concepts,propositions,problem-solving teaching,learning difficulties and other theoretical research On the basis of this,by distributing test papers to students and evaluating test papers with SOLO classification evaluation method,we can understand the current situation of high school students' learning about the knowledge of number series.At the same time,through the analysis of students' questionnaires and teachers' interviews,we can understand the reasons of students' learning difficulties in number series from different subjects as follows:(1)the understanding of basic concepts is not complete;(2)teachers are teaching exercises "Anxious";(3)students' learning habits are not good;(4)no good learning methods have been formed;(5)lack of learning motivation;(6)lack of attention to mathematical literacy.Finally,according to the problems reflected in the survey results,the following nine teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)strengthenthe teaching of concepts and propositions;(2)emphasize the overall contrast between knowledge;(3)attach importance to the acquisition process of knowledge;(4)strengthen the guidance of thinking methods;(5)exercise the ability of data processing;(6)permeate the teaching of problem solving;(7)timely conduct classroom discussion.(8)Difference teaching in senior two and senior three(9)difference teaching in Arts and Science...
