To make students actively and efficiently learn chemistry,we must first arouse students' learning motivation of chemistry courses.However,in recent years,the survey results show that students' learning motivation of chemistry is generally inadequate,and has various problems.Most of the first-line teachers are aware of the learning motivation plays a significant role in teaching results,but they stimulate students' learning motivation more still in the experience level,lack of the theoretical and the systematic professional guidance.This paper chooses Keller J.M.'s ARCS Model Of Motivation Design,to explore the effect of the model applied to chemistry teaching.Based on the gathering,collation and analysis of the relevant data of ARCS Model Of Motivation Design and the students' motivation of chemistry learning,this study uses ARCS Model Of Motivation Design,to study its influence on students' learning motivation in chemistry teaching of junior high school.First,prepare the questionnaire and implement the forecast survey,analyze the forecast data,determine the final questionnaire content.Second,select two parallel classes as the object of study and the pre-test to understand the level of student chemistry learning motivation;Then,the object of study will be divided into the experimental class and the control class,the experimental class is implemented ARCS Model Of Motivation Design of teaching strategies,the comparison class is implemented regular teaching strategies.After the implementation of the program,the students is conducted a questionnaire survey and pen and paper test,comparing the level of learning motivation and differences in academic performance in two classes;exploring the teaching methods on learning motivation of chemistry in junior high school.The study found that learning motivation of chemistry in junior high school is not enough overall.the experimental class implemented ARCS Model Of Motivation Design for chemical teaching,through the data analysis before and after the experiment,the results found that the experimental class of learning motivation and academic performance have a certain degree of improvement.Therefore,ARCS Model Of Motivation Design can stimulate learning motivation of chemistry in junior high school,achieve a certain teaching effect.
