Briefly speaking,aesthetic values is a kind of the beauty and the ugly view,which involves our fundamental views and evaluation attitudes to things.The education of aesthetic values is an important part of ideological and political education in colleges,and it is also indispensable for integrated education for college students.This aspect is related to the advancement of comprehensive education for college students.Compared with moral education,intellectual education,and sports,the cultivation of aesthetic values has a unique function and role.For this reason,studying college students' aesthetic values in the background of the new era is of great significance for enriching the relevant theories of cultivating aesthetic values and broadening the educational horizon and channels of aesthetic education.Based on the existing research results of aesthetic education,this article combs the research results of beauty,aesthetics,values,and aesthetic values.And based on the current aesthetic values of college students and their cultivation status,the article explores the path and related measures to cultivate college students' aesthetic values in the new era.This article mainly conducts this research through the following sections:Firstly,by analyzing the background and significance of the research on the cultivation of college students' aesthetic values in the new era,and combining the research results related to aesthetic education at home and abroad,a comprehensive and integrated research idea is proposed,which reflects the theoretical significance and realistic meaning in the new era.Secondly,it explained the concepts and theories related to the cultivation of college students 'aesthetic values,and pointed out the four goals of the cultivation of college students' aesthetic values: to cultivate the ability to discover beauty,to cultivate a correct and progressive aesthetic outlook,to cultivate the ability to create beauty,and to enhance the interest and ideal of life.Realm ability.And by analyzing the connection between aesthetic value education and ideological and political education,it is concluded that the two have the same educational goals,the harmonization of educational contents and the sensibility of educational emotions.Thirdly,the article sorts out the current situation of college students 'aesthetic values in the new era,and lists the characteristics of current college students' aesthetic values: the mainstreaming of aesthetic values,the keen awareness of aesthetic cognition,the diversity of aesthetic tastes,and the aesthetic needs pursuit of novelty.And through investigation and research on related materials,it is found that some college students have negative problems such as aesthetic feelings focus on the senses,the aesthetic behavior is blind,the aesthetic value orientation is utilitarian,and the aesthetic taste is vulgar.Finally,in view of the above negative problems,the causes of the problems of college students' aesthetic values are analyzed from three aspects of social environment,colleges and families.And the inadequacy and adverse effects of the society,colleges and families on the cultivation of college students' aesthetic values are deeply explored.By analyzing the problems and reasons in the cultivation of college students' aesthetic values,this artical puts forward the basic path to cultivate college students' aesthetic values in the new era from the following four aspects: improving the top-level design of the cultivation of college students' aesthetic values,strengthening the educational effect of the cultivation of college aesthetic values,giving play to the positive role of the family,and guiding the active education mechanism of college students' cultivation of aesthetic values.
