The content of the ellipse is relatively flexible and requires high mathematical thinking,which leads to students' learning difficulties.Many students are unable to understand and master the definition of ellipse in depth,which leads to the lack of application awareness of the definition and the inflexibility of using the ellipse definition to solve problems.Investigate the nature of the ellipse;do not adapt to the problem when you do the problem.When you encounter similar problems,as long as the conditions or forms change,you are at a loss and have no ideas.Variant teaching has a long history in China.It changes students from different perspectives and levels of concepts or problems to enable students to experience the process of knowledge generation and development in the process of learning concepts or problem solving,to grasp the essence of knowledge and accumulate it.Activity experience,learn to think and analyze problems autonomously.Therefore,in the elliptical teaching,if the variant teaching can be implemented reasonably and effectively,it should have a strong feasibility to improve the teaching quality of high school mathematics ellipse.This article adopts three research methods: literature research method,questionnaire survey method,and case analysis method to read the existing literature at home and abroad to learn about the current status of research at home and abroad.Under the guidance of the curriculum standards for the teaching of conic curves,based on the variant theory,and using examples to explain the elliptical teaching strategy,we strive to solve the problems in elliptical teaching.The specific research content and research results are as follows:1.Using the literature research method,first of all,read the relevant literature by category,understand the current status of elliptical teaching research,and the current status of variant teaching research.Based on the review and evaluation of a large number of literatures,find the eight key problems to be solved in elliptical teaching.Subsequent research points out the direction;secondly,it defines the "variants" and "variant teaching",and summarizes and sorts out the theoretical basis of this article,that is,the theory of variants;finally,it finds variants based on curriculum standards and analysis of teaching materials.The coincidence between theory and elliptical teachingputs forward the necessity of applying variant theory in elliptical teaching:(1)the need to grasp the essence of the concept;(2)the need to understand mathematical thinking methods;(3)the need to promote problem solving.2.Using the questionnaire survey method,through the questionnaire survey of teachers and students,to understand the current situation of elliptical teaching and learning and the application of variants in elliptical teaching,and analyze the results.The results show that in terms of teachers:(1)the level of teachers' teaching theory needs to be improved;(2)the teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching of basic concepts;(3)the teachers do not penetrate deeply into mathematical thinking methods;Use is not appropriate.In terms of students:(1)some students 'learning interest is not very strong;(2)the students' understanding of basic concepts is not comprehensive;(3)the students lack the relevant abilities required to solve problems;Variant habit.3.Using case analysis method,based on variant teaching theory,taking some links in elliptical teaching as examples,the ellipse-defined teaching strategy,ellipse standard equation teaching strategy,elliptical simple geometric nature teaching strategy,and elliptical optics teaching are proposed.Strategies and teaching strategies for ellipse examples and exercises.
