At present,the physical health of young students in China is not optimistic.The effective amount of exercise of middle school students is relatively lack,and the sports quality is generally not high.Therefore,this study will take junior middle school students as the research object,and use sports games as the main teaching form in physical education and health class,and carry out an 18-week experiment to explore the effect of sports games teaching on the health and physical fitness of junior middle school students.The response indicators include:cardiopulmonary function,body composition,strength fitness,endurance fitness and flexibility fitness.The main purpose is to improve the health and fitness of young students in junior middle school through novel teaching methods,and to provide theoretical basis for promoting the application of sports games in teaching.This study uses literature,measurement,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis and experimental methods.Taking the eighth grade students of Camford Royal School as the experimental object,based on physical education and combined with sports games as the experimental way,a game course was developed to meet the physical condition of junior middle school students.59 students(32 boys and 27 girls)from two classes of general teaching classes in the eighth grade were studied,and the experimental objects were divided into experimental class and control class,The experimental class used sports games as the main teaching form,while the control class used the conventional teaching form.The experimental time was 2019.9.2-2020.1.10,a total of 18 weeks,2 lessons per week.Before the experiment,the fitness index of healthy body was tested and collected.After the experiment,the same way was used to collect.Then the data before and after the experiment were analyzed by SPSS of windows and excel.The data were expressed in the form of average number and standard deviation(x±s).The data before and after the experiment were analyzed by t-test.Through the comparative analysis of measurement data,this paper studies the influence of sports game teaching on the healthy physical fitness of junior middle school students.The experimental results are as follows:1)Sports game teaching has certain effect on Improving Junior Middle School Students'vital capacity in the 800/1000m performance and enhancing their cardiopulmonary function.Compared with the conventional teaching method of the control class,it has certain advantages.2)Through the sports game teaching,the influence on the body quality index of the students is not obvious,and the effect on improving the body composition of the students is not significant.The teaching effect of the experimental group is similar to that of the control group.3)According to the test results of pull-up and sit ups,the effect of sports game teaching on improving students' muscle strength is not obvious,but the results of the experimental class are slightly better than that of the control class.4)Through the test results of plate support,we can see that sports game teaching has no significant effect on improving the muscle endurance of students.5)After the completion of the 16-week course,the flexibility of the students in the two classes has been significantly improved,which shows that the effect of sports game teaching on flexibility is significant,but after the comparison of the test results of the two classes,the improvement of the control class is slightly better than the experimental class.
