Function is not only closely related to our life,but also plays an important role in mathematics and other natural sciences.In junior high school mathematics knowledge,function is also an extremely important part.It's not just the way of thinking about functions themselves,it's also closely related to the content of other chapters.As the starting point of function content,the concept of function is also the basis of learning related knowledge.Mastering the knowledge points and thinking methods of function concept will affect the whole junior middle school and even later mathematics learning.But through the investigation and interview of students,we can find that the concept of function is a difficult point in teaching.Firstly,this paper seeks inspiration for function teaching from the development history of function concept.That is in the process of teaching,we should consider the students' acceptance ability and use the definition of variables to teach the concept of function.Then through consulting literature and questionnaires,we find out and analyze the reasons for students'difficulty in conceptual learning function:one is the difficulty of understanding the ion of function concept itself;second,students' thinking is limited.Then the author combines her own teaching experience to discuss and analyze the content of the concept of function from various perspectives:the position of function concept in textbooks?how to understand variables in concepts and how to understand various expressions of functions.Combining with the contents analyzed,the corresponding teaching strategies are put forward:infiltration of related ideas and methods before learning function?introduce concepts with concrete examples and how to help students form and consolidate concepts.At last,the detailed teaching design is carried out according to the research content.
