Improving students 'reading motivation is an important way to promote their active participation in reading activities,while reading teaching classroom is also an important place for students to participate in reading activities.The reading teaching classroom social environment will directly affect students' reading motivation.Moreover,there is a lack of domestic research on classroom social environment and reading motivation,so this research is of great significance.In order to conduct a study on the relationship between the general perception of classroom social environment and reading motivation,198 junior high school students were investigated by questionnaire and interview.The research questions of this paper are as follows:(1)The general perception of the classroom social environment and the students' reading motivation in reading teaching.(2)The correlation between classroom social environment and reading motivation in reading teaching.(3)To study the corresponding reading motivation of junior high school students with different perception levels of classroom social environment in reading teaching,and the differences of reading motivation of junior high school students with different perception levels of classroom social environment.This study used the classroom social environment and reading motivation scale to collect data on the dimensions of classroom social environment and reading motivation,and interviewed a total of 12 students in the four classes that collected the data.In the process of reading teaching practice,the main courses are reading guide class,reading sharing class and show of works class.The results are as follows:(1)The junior high school students have a higher level of classroom social environment perception and reading motivation in the reading teaching classroom.(2)There are significant differences in students' reading motivation in different levels of classroom social environment perception.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between social environment and reading motivation,but the correlation degree is moderate.This paper is divided into six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,this chapter introduces the research background,purpose and significance of this paper and expounds the research ideas.The second chapter is literature review,which discusses the current situation of domestic and foreign related research on classroom environment and reading motivation.The third chapter is the research design and research process,which introduces the theoretical concept,research questions,research object,research methods,research tools,and process of this research.The fourth chapter is to analyze the data with SPSS 25.0 software to get the relevant research results.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestions.The author draws relevant conclusions based on the research results,and proposes corresponding strategies for improving the classroom social environment of reading teaching to improve students'reading motivation.The sixth chapter is the summary and prospect of this research.It summarizes the whole research,explaining the shortcomings of this research and the prospects for the future.
