Scholars at home and abroad agree on the impact of aging population age structure on economic growth,and they all believe that it will bring negative impacts on economic growth.This paper selects the relationship between the ageing population structure of Chongqing and economic growth as the research object,studies the impact of ageing population of Chongqing on the economic growth of Chongqing,clarifies many of these issues,and analyzes the current status of population age structure in Chongqing,Deduced the theoretical model between the age structure of the population and economic growth,and conducted an empirical test.Regarding the changing trend of Chongqing's population structure,this study shows that the current age structure of Chongqing's population has officially entered the elderly type,showing a rapid decline in the birth rate of children,a relatively large decline in the proportion of children,and a rapid increase in the proportion of the elderly population;Chongqing Although the proportion of the working-age population has continued to increase,the growth rate has declined significantly.With regard to the relationship between the age structure of Chongqing's population and economic growth,by incorporating the factors of population age structure into the Solow model and deriving an improved theoretical model,this paper analyzes the negative effect of the age structure of Chongqing's population on economic growth from a theoretical perspective,and Based on this,the empirical model is established,and the specific parameters of the empirical model are obtained through the ridge regression estimation method.Finally,an empirical conclusion is drawn: The empirical model of the impact of aging population age structure on economic growth in Chongqing shows that the proportion of working age population has a positive impact on Chongqing 's economic growth,and the degree of impact increases with the increase of capital depreciation rate;total support The comparison has a negative impact on Chongqing 's economic growth,and its degree of impact decreases as the capital depreciation rate increases;the remaining explanatory variables,except for the sum of the capital depreciation rate and the natural population growth rate,all have a positive effect on economic growth,and The positive impact of human capital on Chongqing's economic growth is much greater than the technical level,labor force participation rate and savings rate.On the basis of theoretical research and empirical analysis,this article putsforward the following suggestions:(1)optimize the development environment of the elderly industry;(2)improve the talent reserve mechanism;(3)encourage couples to have two children;(4)explore idle labor;(5)Strengthen the construction of filial piety culture and public welfare organizations;(6)Set a reasonable capital depreciation rate,etc.
