Study On Career Education Curriculum In British Columbia Schools

In recent years,the employment problem which is derived from the policy of expanding the enrollment of higher education has attracted more and more attention of the whole society.At the same time,the integration of the world economy makes the whole international job market changeable.In the face of the increasingly complex employment environment,in order to solve the employment problem of college students,the main domestic countermeasures are still focused on the few vocational guidance activities held by students when they graduate.In the basic education stage,there are very few places and schools that help students to establish the concept of career and carry out career education.It can be seen that career education has not been fully valued and carried out in China.Canada as countries with traditional vocational education,to carry out an early for primary and secondary school students' career counseling and accumulated the rich practical experience,obtained the widespread approval of the international community,in terms of career education courses,Canada is already in the k-12 education system,on the basis of established a comprehensive career education curriculum system.On the basis of previous studies,the author tries to analyzes the theoretical basis,curriculum standards,and ways of academic evaluation of career education courses in B.C.by understanding and grasping the theory of career education,on the basis of the new round of curriculum reform in B.C.province.Finally,on the basis of analysis and comparison,this paper summarizes the characteristics of career education in Canada and the experience worth learning from,and combined with the current situation and problems of the development of career education in primary and secondary schools in our country,trying to dig out the significance and enlightenment worth learning from and reference in the development of career education in our country.
