The IAAF Kid's athletics Project(hereinafter referred to as Kid's athletics)is based on the basic sports form of track and field events.Through the systematic transformation of traditional track and field events,it stimulates the interest of young people in participating in track and field,and discovers the basic track and field of children.Skills,while enjoying happy track and field,improve their physical fitness,cultivate team spirit,and create determination and confidence in hard competition.This article uses research methods such as Document data method,questionnaire survey method,experiment method,mathematical statistics method,logic analysis method,etc.to study the duration of the experimental school of kid's athletics project in Henan Province and the nature of the experimental school,venue facilities,teachers,teaching implementation The physical education teachers conducted field investigations on the recognition of kid's athletics and the participation in competitions.Eight classes in four Henan Province kid's athletics project experimental schools,with a total of 239 students as typical cases and experimental objects,were selected for relevance.The data of strong national students' physical fitness test content,motor skills mastery,and influence of sports learning interest are used as the main indicators.The results of the physical test,motor skills,and sports learning interest of students in the four schools before and after the experiment were compared and analyzed.The research results show that:(1)Since the development of kid's athletics has been valued by the Ministry of Education and the State Sports General Administration,Henan Province has gradually carried out pilot work;although the development of kid's athletics requires only the most basic facilities and equipment to ensure the organization And operation,but Henan Province is still in the exploration stage,and the experimental school is selectively carried out according to its own situation.(2)When our country first came into contact with kid's athletics sports,most school teachers did not understand this project.With the promotion of the IAAF Regional Development Center,the development of training courses played a role in promoting it.Through the survey of teachers,they agree that there is a difference between kid's athletics and traditional track and field.Henan Province presents the following problems at this stage: 1.There is less training for kid's athletics in Henan Province,resulting in a shortage of professional teachers;2.Because of the expensive and limited purchase of soft track and field equipment for kid's athletics,the teachers are simple and convenient in teaching and local conditions;3.Most experimental schools have just introduced kid's athletics,have no experience,and have limited indicators for large-scale competitions.They have no chance to hold or participate in competitions.(3)The development of kid's athletics sports has no significant change in the physical health of 9-10 year old pupils.Both teaching methods have different effects on physical fitness in a short period of time.The results of the physical test of the experimental group are higher than the control group.Generally speaking,kid's athletics teaching is better than traditional physical education.Due to the short time intervention,the increase in performance was not significant.(4)The development of kid's athletics track and field events has a significant impact on the athletic performance and skill scores of 9-10 year old pupils in running,jumping,and shooting,but it does not significantly increase the performance of 50-meter running.(5)The development of kid's athletics has a significant impact on the athletic performance and skill performance of 9-10 year old pupils in running,jumping and throwing.(6)Carrying out the Kid's athletics Project can effectively stimulate the 9-10 year old pupils 'interest in sports learning;Kid's athletics Project can provide a good learning atmosphere for the pupils,enable the pupils to experience the joy of success in sports competitions,and help to achieve better teaching results It is more conducive to the development of school athletics,it can rebuild the status of athletics in physical education,and it is also conducive to cultivating students' lifelong sports awareness.
