At the turn of spring and summer in 2016,"Ge You-esque slouching" emojis became popular on the Internet.Negative and decadent jokes replaced warm and beautiful chicken soup for the soul and full of the Internet."Sang Culture" has became a new form of youth subculture popular among young people.As a representation of social changes,"Sang Culture" reflects the real lifestyle of young people and mirrors their collective need,which has aroused wide attention from all walks of life.The emergence of "Sang Culture" is not an isolated case.Hippies,Hip hop,Otaku and other subcultures all have their own "Sang" background.It is also a consistent product of the "Diaosi Culture".Reviewing the development process of "Sang Culture",we can divide it into four period:germination,prevalence,collection and variation.In this paper,"Sang Culture" is observed from the perspective of youth subculture,taking the representative discourse in "Sang Culture" as the research object,applied Fairclough's three-dimensional discourse analysis to carry out a critical discourse study.In Fairclough's three-dimensional discourse analysis model,the first dimension is the linguistic analysis of the text of "Sang Culture".The study found that lexical use is characterized by relexicalization,over-lexicalization and ideological rubik's cube,and the syntax has the characteristics of schematic construction and semantic generalization.The second dimension is to carry out the discourse practice analysis of "Sang Culture".This part starts with the dynamic practice of discourse,introduces the intertextuality mechanism,and examines how each subject participates in the production,dissemination and consumption of discourse texts and generates new meanings.It is found that "Sang Culture" is a highly stylized social discourse generated by group members through parody,bricolage and homology in their interactions,which has the significance of resistance and identity construction.When commercial forces get involved in the development of "Sang Culture",businesses use the elements of "Sang Culture" and inspire the concept of "Buddhist-style",which all promote the transformation of "Sang Culture" into commercial discourse with consumption significance.Finally,through qualitative attribution and meaning reconstruction,the authorities try to eliminate the resistance of "Sang Culture" and bring it into the mainstream discourse system,and eventually it becomes an important material for official discourse.The third dimension is the social practice analysis of "Sang Culture".The thesis found that the class curing of social trends,group dilemma,the reconstruction of discourse pattern caused by technological progress and the unconsciously promotion of foreign culture breed "Sang Culture"."Sang Culture" not only reflects the group consciousness of the youth to boycott the overwhelming success and consumerism but the pursuit of social voice. |
