With the promulgation of the "2019 Suzhou Junior High School Graduates Sports Examination Measures",all the junior high school PE teachers in Kunshan City have received widespread attention from all walks of life,improving the professional quality of PE teachers is imminent.On-the-job training for physical education teachers is an effective way to improve their professional quality,and it is also a necessary process for physical education teachers to improve their teaching ability.In order to improve the effectiveness of on-the-job training of physical education teachers,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the on-the-job training needs of junior high school physical education teachers in Kunshan,finds out some problems in the training process,and puts forward some countermeasures for on-the-job training of junior high school physical education teachers in Kunshan.In this paper,literature,interviews,questionnaires,mathematical statistics and other research methods,Kunshan City junior high school physical education teachers in-service training needs as the research object,Kunshan City,9 districts and towns of 13 junior high school physical education teachers were investigated and statistics.This paper analyzes the current situation of physical education teachers' professional ability and on-the-job training needs in Kunshan junior middle school,and draws the following conclusions:(1)Female teachers are few and the sex ratio is unbalanced;the age structure is younger;the teaching age structure is affected by the age structure of the subjects investigated,which accounts for the largest proportion in the period of 5 to 15 years;the educational structure meets the requirements of the national standards,and the proportion of undergraduate or above is as high as 94.9%.Urban schools,rural schools and vrban-rural schools are located in three types of schools.The proportion is about the same.(2)Because of the structure of teaching age,PE teachers get the highest score in the dimension of professional knowledge ability;the main reason for the lowest score in the dimension of self-development ability is that the junior middle school PE teachers in Kunshan have so heavy teaching and training tasks that they do not have enough energy to invest in teaching,research and learning frontier sports education ideas.(3)Kunshan junior high school PE Teachersl demand for on-the-job training is very strong.Among them,the demand for instructional design ability is the strongest,while the demand for professional knowledge ability is relatively weak.(4)As many as 85.1%of the junior middle school PE teachers in Kunshan City volunteered to participate in the training;most of the teachers hoped to attend the training on weekends and during the teaching and Research Conference of the school;participants eagerly expected that the training would be related to the evaluation of professional titles,or the results of research;Observation Learning was the best and most efficient of the many methods.The main reasons why PE teachers can not participate in the training are the heavy teaching work,inappropriate time and the content of the training is not in accordance with the interest.Based on the conclusions,the following recommendations are made:From the perspective of educational administration departments,we should support teachers' on-the-job training from the macro level.(1)positioning reasonable training objectives(2)establish a reasonable training cost sharing mechanism(3)improve the reasonable evaluation system and perfect the reward and punishment systemThe perspective of training institutions:hierarchical classification and implementation of teacher training.(1)rationalization of training content(2)diversification of training methods(3)rationalization of training timeThe perspective of participating schools:optimizing the environment for teachers'on-the-job training.(1)lighten the burden of Teachers(2)carrying out school-based trainingPE teachers turn passive development into active development.
