This study takes classical Chinese as a compulsory textbook in senior high school.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,practice verification,investigation and research to study the compulsory textbooks,new curriculum standards,Jiangsu College Entrance Examination,etc.Firstly,this paper discusses the importance of classical Chinese reading teaching in senior high school,and analyzes it from two dimensions:the effective value of classical Chinese reading teaching and the explanation of Jiangsu College Entrance Examination.Then,it lists the problems existing in the teaching of classical Chinese reading,and analyzes the causes:the problems existing in the teaching level of classical Chinese reading,the problems existing in the students'learning level of classical Chinese,and the evaluation methods of the college entrance examination on the teaching of classical Chinese reading.Finally,on the one hand,it explores the effective strategies of classical Chinese reading teaching in classical Chinese compulsory textbooks,that is,"changing teaching concepts":first,to understand the essence of classical Chinese teaching;second,to correct the status of teachers and students in teaching;third,to stimulate interest in learning and clarify the purpose of learning.On the other hand,"to explore the multiple values of classical Chinese reading teaching",one is the basic value of classical Chinese reading teaching;the other is to discuss the residual value of classical Chinese reading teaching;the third is the residual value of narrative classical Chinese reading teaching.The third aspect is "Teachers'Teaching Strategy for Improvement".First,we should integrate the contents and reorganize the teaching.Second,the teaching methods are different from each other.Fourthly,"the teaching of classical Chinese reading in senior high schools has diversified evaluation methods." First,the preparation of college entrance examination papers highlights the scientific nature;second,the teaching of classical Chinese reading evaluation infiltrates humanism.
