With the rapid development of the society,the requirements of students are more and more higher,the comprehensive development of students is particularly important,teachers are an important role to affect the comprehensive development of students.But the teacher more is influences the student's comprehensive development through the classroom teaching.This is not a straightforward process.Relevant studies have shown that teachers' expectations perceived by students in class will affect students' learning engagement,and the degree of learning engagement in class(also known as students' participation in class)will affect students' academic performance,thus affecting their overall development.The relationship between teachers' expectation perception and students' participation in class and whether students' participation plays a role in them are still unclear.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research to provide some theoretical and practical basis for students' all-round development.This study selected parts of 1020 high school students in He Nan province,using literature analysis,questionnaire survey and classroom observation method of combining the perception of students to teachers' expectation and the present situation of the students' classroom participation,relationships,and their influence on academic performance,student engagement in the classroom teachers' expectation and the intermediary role between the academic performance study:(1)Student perception of teacher expectations is not good.On all dimensions is uneven.There are significant differences in grades and different achievement levels,Gender difference is not obvious.(2)The overall level of student perception of teacher expectations less than student participation in class.In the three dimensions of behavioral participation,cognitive participation and emotional participation,there is a gradient ascending pattern.There were significant differences in different performance levels,grades,genders.(3)Teachers' expectation perception has a significant positive correlation with the degree of students' participation in class as a whole.In all dimensions,"teacher support" and "teaching interaction" have a significant impact on students' participation in class,while academic feedback only has a significant impact on emotional participation.(4)The degree of students' participation in class plays a completely mediating role between teachers' expectation perception and academic performance.Based on the above conclusions;this study puts forward some Suggestions from the two aspects of teachers and students respectively.The specific Suggestions for teachers are as follows: constantly update the teaching concept and improve their professional quality;Give students appropriate expectations and make timely adjustments;Focus on delivering teacher expectations and carry on the difference teaching;Focus on communication with students.The main Suggestions at the student level are: to understand the nature of learning;Improve the level of emotion management and perceptual ability;Learn empathy.
